I love listening to the Bi-lingual Welsh poll results

ASecretLemonadeDrinkerDAVE · 07/05/2010 04:40

I did notice that N.I read the person name only... I guessed because there was alot of long party names?

ASecretLemonadeDrinkerDAVE · 07/05/2010 04:39

Looking forward to the slough result, see if they hold labour.

kickassangel · 07/05/2010 04:39

why do some returning officers read out the party name, and others just the person's name? or is that just NI?

some parties must be registered under a v long name, as they read out the party name & a slogan!

caramelwaffle · 07/05/2010 04:38

Took too many Flipping liberties

Kaloki · 07/05/2010 04:38

Surprised Enfield is Tory though!

ChallengingCitrusHalibut · 07/05/2010 04:37

Now it's been announced, Jacqui Smith does not look happy. Lost by quite a bit too, around 6000.

That'll teach you to flip, you flipping flipper.

Kaloki · 07/05/2010 04:37

Windsor couldn't have been anything else. Actually it's the same for most of Berks, aside from Slough, which is most likely Labour.

Right now I'm also surrounded by blue over in Hemel.

caramelwaffle · 07/05/2010 04:36

(There is another thread going on as well - announced on there that BNP have lost to Labour in Barking - Ohhhhh yeaahhhhhhhhhhh)

kickassangel · 07/05/2010 04:36

yep, jaqui gone

ASecretLemonadeDrinkerDAVE · 07/05/2010 04:36

I love it when a little party get some votes (not BNP), so sweet that they bother - they obviously think "maybe...just maybe". BNP are rising and rising though, scary stuff

Kaloki · 07/05/2010 04:35

Ooh two threads, how confusing!

ASecretLemonadeDrinkerDAVE · 07/05/2010 04:35

Windsor - no suprise. My nearest 'other' area is currently one of the Oxfords, I am a pocket of blue surrounded by other blues!

ChallengingCitrusHalibut · 07/05/2010 04:34

It's not been announced yet but Jacqui Smith has lost her seat to Cons in Redditch.

ASecretLemonadeDrinkerDAVE · 07/05/2010 04:33

Wooo, meon valley, yeah!

mrsbean78 · 07/05/2010 04:33

Ed Balls here in Leeds, not in my constituency though.... Wakefield way. Will be a surprise if he goes.

mrsbean78 · 07/05/2010 04:32

Oh God. I really don't think Lib dems should be in government... this from someone who seriously considered voting for them earlier today!.. oops yesterday

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 04:31
