Anxious Conservatives thread!

As the lefties have one, we need one too.

I have everything crossed for them to win, by however small a margin, and red wine and arsenic ready in case they lose...

I daren't stay up as my nerves can't take it. I just desperately want to wake up to a Conservative government tomorrow morning.

Lefties, please don't intrude. I have deliberately started this thread so as not to pester you on your anxious thread. It feels mean and unnecessary to tell you why you are wrong on your own thread.

Moondog,you are right.I'm true blue all the way,but every time I look at George Osbourne,I think 'Lord Snooty'.Although given the choice of who I'd rather not meet in a dark alleyway,it would be Mandy.

Trouble is that there is someone in every party that noone can warm to.
With Labour it is Peter Mandelson.
For Tories, george Osborne.
God, both are soooo creepy.

My next door neighbour is counting tonight.She warned me that she will be back late,so not to worry if I hear a car outside in the early hours.She is being taxied there and back and it is only 6 miles.I quite fancy counting.

Ok, I am nervous at the moment. 5 seats for Labour, one for liblob, and three for others, no sign of a blue seat yet.

I can only assume it is because their winning seats are in areas with huge turnouts taking longer to count - perhaps?

Think I am going to head off to bed. I always wake up in night usually because of DD getting in with me so will check through the night. Dont think I can stand the suspense anymore! Night.

I've gone back to BBC now because it's clearer what's going on.
the tv people must be thrilled about the voting trouble - gives them something to fill the hours with till the results come in

I was hoping earlier that she managed to have a nap at some point it's a long and stressful day for anyone but must be especially hard in that sort of situation. She could be moving house in the morning!
