taffeta, my former boss will be joining in, too.

she has to refrain from spitting if Thatcher's mentioned.

as she put it, 'she and her policies robbed me of a childhood, so i hope she rots in hell one day.'

and otherwise, she's the kindest, most tolerant, gentle person. almost to a fault for people taking advantage of her.

BIL votes Tory because he doesn't want "people like that" (poor people) near him

FIL votes Tory because he can't really justify voting UKIP and because he loves fox hunting and thinks climate change is bollocks

My friend votes Tory as she would never vote for an ugly politician (I kid you not)

laurie i totally agree. was just telling dh (filthy tory) today how i really had to grit my teeth to vote for blair, but was skipping into polling station this morning for gordon.

monkeysmama - 1992 was, indeed, bad. We were in Brixton. All started well. The early evening was broken by cheers resounding from the neighbouring buildings as seats came in that were not-Con seats.

And then it all became grimmer, and grimmer.
