Just starting this so that we can all post our thoughts throughout the day.

My wish for today is that as many people as possible GO OUT AND VOTE.

I cannot vote as I have been living abroad for over 15 years so if anyone wants to vote for me, I would like to vote for Gordon Brown. Voting by MN proxy

yes that's how I feel too.

I just had to look at local issues and see who was going to do what for local people.......and the then standing MP has had a good track record for helping his constiuents when they approach him with problems.......and he's a "local"....the only other "locals" up for election were racists........

caramelwaffle · 07/05/2010 02:39

makemeacupoftea - that is a cracking quote

makemeacupoftea · 07/05/2010 02:39

Dito Kaloki

Kaloki · 07/05/2010 02:38

toccata I'd hate for Labour to continue, but I'd hate to have Tories in power too. Lose/lose as far as I can see

makemeacupoftea · 07/05/2010 02:37

Night Cartoosee

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 02:36

I'm a feeling wierdly sick about it - I voted Tory, came down to looking at local issues and by all accounts (as MP's go) the Tory MP we've had during the last term has actually been very good........so I voted for him. Obviously it's not helping them gain a seat (because he already had it but a very slim majority - we're target no 10 for Labour) but still feel a bit ill at the thought of a Tory government

caramelwaffle · 07/05/2010 02:35

Goodnight Cartoose

makemeacupoftea · 07/05/2010 02:35

Is Lescester north west a bit of a hell hole by any chance?

Kaloki · 07/05/2010 02:34

Hemel has gone to the conservatives

makemeacupoftea · 07/05/2010 02:33

Weird quote of the night
"The Torys are gaining seats , but not ones that matter"

Stretch · 07/05/2010 02:32

Leicester North West has 3396 BNP votes

NoahAndTheWhale · 07/05/2010 02:32

Is going to be conservative I think. Although they are not winning some of the seats they would like to, but winning some they wouldn't necessarily expect to.

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 02:31

night Cartoose

Cartoose · 07/05/2010 02:30

Well, I'm falling asleep here so off to bed. Goodnight everyone.

makemeacupoftea · 07/05/2010 02:30

I read a description by Lembit ex describing how she found him pukeing in the loo in his white underpants, in a woman?s mag in the GPs waiting room. Made me feel even worse.

caramelwaffle · 07/05/2010 02:30

hahahahahaaha Basildon/Thurock "X none of the above" stood as candidate

I knew some new cracking characters would emerge - worth staying up for

BNP over 2000 votes (unprintable word)

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 02:29

sorry no 11 now

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 02:29

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 02:28

RockSolidLabourSeat · 07/05/2010 02:26

Just have to pop in to say - oh effity shtitel it's not going very well is it?

FiveOrangePips · 07/05/2010 02:25

have lost the map on the beeb results page, grrr

caramelwaffle · 07/05/2010 02:24

Ooh Lembit "cheekygirl" Opik loses to conservatives Goodness

KillerCleavage · 07/05/2010 02:24

I'm waiting for Keighley. Not my area but about 30 miles away. Whichever party takes that seat has always got the majority in the election.

Bloody hell - Lembit Opik has lost his seat to the Tories!

NoahAndTheWhale · 07/05/2010 02:24

What has happened to the BBC's map? All the colour has gone.
