ReneRusso · 06/05/2010 13:34

X - quite big queues here in North London

loulou77 · 06/05/2010 13:33

check..DH and I done

MadameOvary · 06/05/2010 13:30

Done - completely deserted but the man on the polling station used to work at my university so that was nice to see him.

WillowM2B · 06/05/2010 13:26

Voted at 0930 in the shabby, tiny Scout shack attached to the shabby, largely vandalised church.

2 rickety booths, 2 unsmiling people sitting at rickety desk doling out ballot forms and the seemingly omnipresent bearded tubby bloke who does sod all at any of the elections I have voted in in the past bar stand there glaring at folk who come to vote. Its most odd and I have no idea who he is. I always cheerily wave goodbye to him which he tends to acknowledge with a grunt.

I hate voting.

Alibabaandthe40tories · 06/05/2010 13:16

Done - quite a stream of people going in and out but no queue because there were about 30 polling booths!

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 06/05/2010 13:04

Done at about 9.30 this morning.

No queue and our neighbours were manning the station. So I was woken up at 6.30 this morning with them rah, rah, rahing outside my window as they walked past this morning!!

Our polling station is in the community centre where are toddler group is held. DS was quite confused that there were no toys laid out to play on, and most importantly no snacks!

PfftTheMagicDragon · 06/05/2010 12:59

done with 2 children - school closed today.

eeniemeenie · 06/05/2010 12:54

Done

larry5 · 06/05/2010 12:53

Done - we are in a very marginal seat. Apparently there had been a steady stream of people voting

Disenchanted3 · 06/05/2010 12:53

Done

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 06/05/2010 12:50

Done - 60 years a Tory seat but we are a lib dem target constituency so I hope we can make a change!!

reikizen · 06/05/2010 12:48

I went with dd1 (who is off school poorly). Love going to vote and really enjoyed explaining to her all about it, she got to post my ballot paper. No queue, but a few people going in and out, no busier or quieter than other times.

passmyglassplease · 06/05/2010 12:48

done it here in Nth London

the atmosphere was quiet and restrained, just like being a library.

FreakoidOrganisoid · 06/05/2010 12:44

Done this morning, no queue, a few pensioners arrived after me. Nobody canvassing. A bit of an anticlimax tbh

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 06/05/2010 12:43

Done, family outing with DH and DD1, who was allowed to post my ballot paper.
No queue but someone there when I got there and someone else walked in as I left, which is busy for here.

McDreamy · 06/05/2010 12:39

Done, no queue, full of old dears and me with my buggy No BNP candidate here not that it would have made a difference to my vote.

CatIsSleepy · 06/05/2010 12:37

yup was there about 7.30

IngridFletcher · 06/05/2010 12:36

Done with 3 kids. Bumped into friend in front of me in queue...of just me and her.

meandjoe · 06/05/2010 12:35

Just been with my 2 yr old constantly asking 'but why are you voting?? What's voting? Can I do it, can I do it, can I do it??' in my ear the whole time. Hope I put the cross in the right box!

BexJ78 · 06/05/2010 12:33

Done. was a steady stream of people going in and out of the polling station.

Goober · 06/05/2010 12:32
