Yes, I opposed the illegal war and the infringements on civil liberties. But to say they have no values is ridiculous when they have done so much to help the poorest.

FWIW I'm voting labour today, because - for all labour's faults - I agree with their fundamental values, to help those least able to help themselves.

Here's a letter from academics at the LSE's Centre for the Analysis of Social Exclusion about Labour's record on child poverty:
