Greece riots coming to the UK if you vote Labour/Lib Dem

Watch out folks, you heard it here first. My husband is a senior economist and is seriously seriously worried about what's about to happen. We need to do all we can to avert a major economical disaster. GB has got us here, do not let him take us further into crisis.

I was a scarey student.

I went on Reclaim the Night marches and Poll Tax marches and rioted in Glasgow and campaigned for just about everything - picketed the Union about Nestle and South African products (still have my "Free Nelson Mandela" T-shirt and badge).

Almost got thrown out of the Christian Union for being "too political".

No wonder I got a 2:2!

(My father knows NONE of this!)

weegiemum - I was at the poll tax riot too!

I met up with some friends, and we went for a cup of tea at someone's house, then ambled back for a spot more rioting.

Though I don't recall us doing anything more than pottering about. Suspect it may have qualified more as tourism of the revolution. Or sight-seeing. Or something.

I went on a Miner's solidarity march once. I was never really sure why. It would have been so much better with some feta and the Greek army.

I was also a student in the Thatcher years weegie. But was always too repressed to riot. I used to carry gramatically correct banners and look a bit aggreived. I even gave a policeman a hard stare at the picket line at Merthyr colliery. Oh yes...

My cousin's Greek. He'll riot for a bit but he's got a lot on at work so probably can't commit to anything beyond his lunchbreak. And he'll need to squeeze in a cheese sandwich too. About 20 minutes?

The one economist on the MPC who predicted all this worked in the university I've recently left. You'd think they'd have capitalised on this, but no.

Where does your husband work? I haven't noticed any panic or histrionics where I work, yet.

The only Greek that I can see rioting in the UK will be Stavros if they shut down the airlines due to 'ash' again.

Not happened yet, but I do run in and run out just in case.
