Watch out folks, you heard it here first. My husband is a senior economist and is seriously seriously worried about what's about to happen. We need to do all we can to avert a major economical disaster. GB has got us here, do not let him take us further into crisis.

If another person asks me why on earth I have a UKIP sign in my garden I shall start lobbing feta and aubergines at my neighbour, does that count as a Greek Riot ?

"How would you burn down a greenhouse? wouldn't you be better off trying to melt one? "

this is Clegg we're talking about, brains don't come into it, and I think there was alcohol involved.

Habbibu · 05/05/2010 22:58

How would you burn down a greenhouse? wouldn't you be better off trying to melt one?

atlantis · 05/05/2010 22:56

"Ok atlantis you adorable tory scamp, I'm off to practice writing an X for tomorrow. "

"Atlantis, I can see you've run out of steam intellectually. I'm not sure quoting me then patronising me* amounts to a compelling argument. I'm bored now.

(*patronising means "to talk down to someone") "

Meeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooooowwwwww.

I could have gone into the whole 'well clegg did try to burn down a greenhouse' thing, but I couldn't be bothered....

NathanBarley · 05/05/2010 22:45

"Only because I don't like them particularly atlantis, strawberries I'd hoard."

I inherited both from the previous tenant and we don't eat them either, shall be offering them to the school next door me thinks.

"Your argument is piss weak atlantis.

There's nothing wrong with being rich per se. It's how you behave with that privelege and entitlement. The Bullingdon Berties threw their weight around and used their money to get them out of it. "

Past your bedtime is it Nathan?

Off you go dear.

NathanBarley · 05/05/2010 22:39

I'd quite like to be rich myself one day, in fact

atlantis · 05/05/2010 22:39

" "

As selfless as ever Lenin, I have a raspberry bush and an apple tree in my back garden I shall leave the back gate open come and do some scrumping.

"I'm going to riot dressed as a Pink Lady. "

Can I riot as Mrs T? (anyone got any pearls?)

NathanBarley · 05/05/2010 22:38

Well I never rioted against the poll tax (being a good conservative and all) but I did many a 'protest' outside the south african embassy against apartheid (and you say conservatives are uncaring )< blows raspberries at lefties>.

donnie · 05/05/2010 22:30

yes and don't forget the obligatory plate smashing to end the evening Hassled!

Pissed off that someone else beat me to it with the Kaiser Chief joke!

maybe the volcanic ash will stop all those furious Greek peeps from transporting their riotous ways over here? I blame the effing EU if they do make it to Blighty's shores. Get a sodding visa whydoncha!

SpringHeeledJack · 05/05/2010 22:29

The poll tax riot is still one of my top ten days out ever. The Reclaim the Streets one in Trafalgar Square was a hoot as well

Now I come to think of it, rioting has been a bit poor under NuLab- bit of a niche activity. Whatever else you can say about the Tories, they certainly brought it to the mainstream
