Ours is a new constituency and supposedly a key battle ground between Lab (Andy Slaughter) and Cons (Shaun Bailey). I think the Cons will get it as it requires a 4.5% swing and nationally they are on course for more than that now.

James Plaskett, Lab. He's been a good constituency MP as far as I can tell and not caught up in the expenses thing but I think he's toast. The GB effect.

I feel a bt sorry for him (James Plaskett, I mean) but he's a professional politician and I suppose that's an occupational hazard. A shame to lose the years of experience though.

Mine is Frank Dobson, Labour. Been labour around here for yonks, so don't expect much change, but the tories, libdems and BNP seem to think they have a chance (the BNP one's a bit odd, considering how many people in my area are immigrants).

My MP is Mark Williams (Lib Dem).

He only has a majority of 219 over Plaid Cymru, so it is anyone's guess which one will get in.

It won't be Labour or Conservative though, in 2005 if you added their votes together it still came to far less than either the Lib Dems or Plaid got.

My MP is Julie Kirkbride.

She is stepping down, but suspect we will remain Tory. Am trying to decide whther to vote Labour in hope of shoving the Tories from their long held throne.

Sadiq Khan here too. Nice bloke and a good MP. Horrified at the prospect of Mark Clarke. Definitely a big fight though - we have been receiving leaflets from both on an almost daily basis so loads of money must have been poured into the campaigns. Quite quite nervous...

It's between Chuka Ummuna (Lab) and Chris Nicholson (LD).

It's on a knife-edge - even Ladbrokes and Betfair are giving them both the same odds! I think if it rains then the LDs might have a better chance than if it's a sunny day and more people go to vote who might not otherwise.

I am in Tony McNulty's seat...until Friday I predict. He claimed approx £60k for his parents' house in Harrow while living with wife a few miles away. He has a slim majority so I predict that a rather smug looking Bob Blackman will get in for the Tories. I have voted LD, but they are currently in 3rd place.

jeremy corbyn (labour) here - it's a very safe seat, none of the other parties stand a chance. i don't mind too much though (despite being a dyed-in-the-wool LD supporter), he's an excellent MP. if only more labour MPs were like him!

Rindercella - my parents are in tony baldry's constituency, any mention of his name in their household is usually accompanied by at least one swear word ... and always by the word lazy and/or useless

Are you in Tooting, Animula? I campaigned there for Labour in the 1997 election. It was a reasonably safe Labour seat then (although we still worked the phones and the doorsteps very hard), I am amazed to see it is likely to go Tory this time.
I was 7 months pregnant with DD1 at the time and I remember feeling shattered but determined my child would be born in a Labour constituency under a Labour government. I stayed up all night and went into work the next morning ecstatic.
Now DD1 is 12 and thinks Nick Clegg is the chosen one! Go figure!

Our out-going MP is Jim Devine, and due to him being charged with expenses-related fraud he won't be standing obviously. Ours is a pretty safe Labour seat, but our MSP and council are SNP so I wouldn't be surprised if it swung that way.

Jim Knight, who I believe was the only Labour member to increase his majority in the 2007 election .

However, as that was largely down to the bizarre antics of the then Tory candidate, and we are still perilously marginal, I fear his quadruple-barrelled Tory rival might get in on Thursday .
