Hello all you lovely mums!

I know mums are all a bit dim because you spend your time at home watching Jeremy Kyle and CBeebies (I'm a mum myself LOLOLOL) so I thought you would be grateful if I came on here and told you all how to vote.

What you do is, you put an X in the box for the candidate you want to vote for - a candidate is a person that wants to be your MP. This is called standing for office but they don't actually have to stand still all the time - bet you thought they did, didn't you?!

It is very important that you put the X in the box for the person you WANT to get in, not all the ones you don't. Just thought I'd better explain that.

lots of love

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 03/05/2010 10:34

One of my candidates is a woman. Now I am confused.

SlartyBartFast · 03/05/2010 10:33

i thought it was a tick not a cross.
are you sure?

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 03/05/2010 10:31

Oh, really?

TroliticalPoll · 03/05/2010 10:31

DuellingFanjo (what a funny name you have got by the way!) you can find out if your candidates have wives by looking at the things called leaflets that I told you about. If they have got a wife there will be a picture of them together holding hands and looking happy. That is how you can tell. (Not that I'm prejudiced in any way - each to his own I say!)

Jack I'm sorry but I have to disagree with your husband. If us girls were in charge there would be no more wars, for a start!

you mean David Cameron, right? You ladies on here do love using abbreviations, don't you?

Well like I said you can vote for whoever you want but did you know the Labour party (that's not an actual party with drinks and nibbles, it just means a group of people who believe the same things about politics) have done a lot of things to help single mums like you but the Conservatives want to take their benefits away? This is because the Conservatives only like helping rich people! Yup, that's right

My Dear Daughter, who else would have a day off school

But seriously, this is on Thursday? Well I can't do it, have kids to look after, house to clean and to make myself look beautiful for my husband.
Anyway, he has just said that I don't need to bother my head about voting, I know my place

VinegarTits · 03/05/2010 10:20

of course im irresponsible, im a single mum, you can blame me for the state of this country, after all DC does

TroliticalPoll · 03/05/2010 10:18

VinegarTits - I'm not being nasty but I think you sound really irresponsible! Don't you care about the future?

DuelingFanjo · 03/05/2010 10:11

Will all my local candidates have wives? I am not sure I can trust one who doesn't

xxx

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 03/05/2010 10:10

Hang on, when do we have to do this? Only DD1 has a day off school on Thursday so that is not a good day for me.

TroliticalPoll · 03/05/2010 10:10

Jack - you are a mum so you care more than your dh, because we all know mums are special, so I think you should vote for whoever you want!

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 03/05/2010 10:08

Oh, really? Is that what they were. Right.

Can't I just vote for whoever DH tells me to?
