Please fill in our fifth quickfire and final (Godwilling!) election poll. We've got a case of champers with which to toast the victor, or, alternatively, drown your sorrows on election night up for grabs.

WebDude · 30/04/2010 18:01

Agreed, vesela, on increase in numbers who voted.

vesela · 30/04/2010 16:56

Thanks - that's good so many people voted, about 300 up on last time?

JustineMumsnet · 30/04/2010 16:28

WebDude · 30/04/2010 13:09

Interestingly (low) figures. I had to swap browser to see any ticks this time, and last week didn't spot the link in time (so thought there was a technical glitch).

How do those figures compare with regular (once a week or more) participation on the forum ?

I only ask because with a total membership which is potentially massive (OK, commercially sensitive as other websites exist) it does seem a bit low if less than 10% of 'regulars' bothered to vote (though clearly some trends concerning boredom about the 'jousting' might have crept in... OTOH if the vote count today is multiple times the first vote, then champagne is essential!)

cyteen · 30/04/2010 12:51

Done. Oh god, does this mean I'm a champagne socialist?

sample sizes were:

1 Feb: 1,317
24 Mar: 1,055
15 Apr: 624
22 Apr: 611

Adding them to the poll result pages now, and will post final survey sample size once poll is closed.

Could you put the sample sizes on your poll results page please (they are usually given at the top of each column of percentages)? I can't guess calculate significance levels without them, thanks.

Yes of course - good point - we'll do asap.
