I quite fancy this but I don't think any of my friends have the same politcal view as I do? It's a working day the following day?
I'm not that savvy on these subject but thought it would be fun!!!
The really results aren't known until the morning and it is boring in the early part of the evening.
What do you do think

"volunteered to deliver 'don't forget to vote today!' leaflets from 5am"

Watch out for water, cold tea, or worse if you get dogs barking indoors then!

Ooh, yes, let's have a MN election party!

Will be staying up late with DH, though as I have stupidly volunteered to deliver 'don't forget to vote today!' leaflets from 5am that morning, so not sure how long I'll be staying awake.

Also will not be drinking (PG) for first election ever, which might take some of the fun out of it. Arse.

Yep - with DH and my best friend since uni, and his partner. Have watched every election night with my BF for the last 30 years. Champagne will be ready for a momentous event (in 1997 it was opened at 3am when Portillo lost his seat.) BF will probably be chain-smoking in the garden for most of the night

And I've also taken Friday off.

Not keen on a MN one. I like an audience when I shout at the telly and who will admire my vol-vents and tipas

I@m sure there'll be an MN one........though I@m not sure how I'm going to manage the TV and the computer at the same time as they're both in different rooms

But I'l be here......

DH and I will be having our own. He's arranged to work from home the following day and I have a meeting but not til 12, so once the nanny is in at 8.30 we may well go back to bed for a snooze.

We weren't going to be bothered but now it's all got a bit more exciting.
