Feeling quite nostalgic now.

Will now read the entire thread and figure out if anyone sounds familiar

OhGodItsCod · 29/04/2010 21:32

many a night on the patchy moss there

nigglewiggle · 29/04/2010 21:23

The Jug of Ale in Moseley was where Ocean Colour Scene started out I think.

MrsMiamla · 29/04/2010 21:22

duckyfuzz...erm.. sorry, I've got a pg foggy brain and an atrocious memory at the best of times! but 'cp' has at least discounted some of the more embarrassing options it could have been!

blametheparents · 29/04/2010 21:20

God, had forgotten about The Brook

MrsMiamla · 29/04/2010 21:19

Castille... apology accepted Just a bit of a touchy subject with me, close family member was days away from dying from anorexia and no, she didn't ever live at Griffin!

Gun Barrels...now that's a name i haven't heard in a while! What was the bar in the union called, Old Joes? ooh and there was Berlins in the basement! they used to have some great band nights down there

castille · 29/04/2010 21:18

We went to the Brook in the summer to sun ourselves in the beer garden

Substandard · 29/04/2010 21:17

Eldin - I did law, very badly! What about you? Seemed to spend more time Lake-side than Wydd

janeite · 29/04/2010 21:17

Yep - nice but the loos were foul.

Horton · 29/04/2010 21:16

I think I used to go to the Prince of Wales once I moved to Moseley. Was that quite a little one on the main road in the other direction from Kings Heath?

EldonAve · 29/04/2010 21:16

Substandard - I did Chem, not used it since

duckyfuzz · 29/04/2010 21:16

ooooh really mrsm? initials cp

janeite · 29/04/2010 21:15

There's a Starbucks. I took some pupils there last year for a tour.

castille · 29/04/2010 21:15

MrsM Apols for wild generalisation. No offence intended. I did learn a lot about eating disorders at Brum though, there was a lot of it about

Horton · 29/04/2010 21:15

Poor Cod, were you desperate?

I think we considered ourselves in some way a cut above but have no idea why now and in any case the GB is hardly the natural habitat of anyone in any way superior.

Substandard · 29/04/2010 21:15

Eldin - I did law, very badly! What about you? Seemed to spend more time Lake-side than Wydd

blametheparents · 29/04/2010 21:14

If you had to watch one of my flatmates cooking and eating then you would have an eating disorder too!
I don't think I had one, though I was significantly slimmer then!

Bet there's a Costa in the Union now

janeite · 29/04/2010 21:14

Gun Barrels got worse and worse before it died (it IS dead now, isn't it?).

We used to go to The Jug Of Ale and The Prince Of Wales in Moseley.

MrsMiamla · 29/04/2010 21:13

duckyfuzz.. it will be very likely that I know your brother!

OhGodItsCod · 29/04/2010 21:12

duckyfuzz · 29/04/2010 21:12
