Third Leader's Debate - BBC 29th April

In anticipation of tomorrow's TV debate, MN will be launching a fifth poll of Mumsnetter voting intentions as soon as the debate finishes. Can Cameron regain the ground he's lost? Will Clegg continue to build on his success following the first and second debates? We'll have to wait and see - but in the meantime, we've put together a handy table showing how your voting intentions and attitudes towards the party leaders have changed over the past four polls

'What do they mean by one-to-one tuition?'
I'm a tutor that's part of this Labour scheme to balance the gap in achievement caused by middle class parents paying for tuition for their children. Every child in Primary and Secondary Ks2 or 3 that is more than 1 level behind their peers in Maths or English is entitled to 10 sessions of tuition. It started being introduced last September and makes a huge impact on the kids who receive it.

GB is, I think, trying to get across that if a child goes into a school from a family in poverty, as it is , very little in the classroom will reach them. It's too late, and not enough. they have to go in well fed, etc.

It's not coming across, though.

it is a very big deal for him Spidey. He had never met anyone whose dcs went to state school until he was 36.

Mrs forgetful. DC mentioned that Special needs schools shouldn't be closed and that children with special needs should be able to choose between mainstream and special schools.
