had a go on this site with shocking results - didn't come up with the party I have always supported at all.

Even managed to agree with one BNP policy without knowing whose it was. Thankfully it was only bringing hospital cleaning in house but it made me panic for a moment there.

Picking the issues is a bit of a guide, I ended up as a sort of commie nazi.

NoahAndTheWhale · 21/04/2010 23:07

I got 3 Lib Dems, 2 Green, 1 UKIP and 1 Labour.

Pity my seat is, and will stay, Conservative...

specialmagiclady · 21/04/2010 23:05

Mine came out exactly right! Maybe I have taken in more of this politics business than I expected....

ThatVikRinA22 · 21/04/2010 23:03

i consistently get lib dems. guess i should really. thats the 5th one of these sites ive used with the same result

TheFallenMadonna · 21/04/2010 22:59

Quite releived to have Clegg leap out at me. And Caroline Lucas is in my ideal cabinet too. Not unhappy with that result...

gaelicsheep · 21/04/2010 22:58

The trouble is it's pretty easy to work out who's who. I recognised most of the LibDem policies having read their manifesto. I ended up with 5 Lib Dems policies, one Tory and one Green. Very relieved I didn't pick any Labour ones, and SNP stood out a mile (frequent mention of crofting being a dead give away).

claig · 21/04/2010 22:58

tried it, it's good. Fortunately I won't be joining hands like Kinnock and the gang did, as they sang "avanti o popolo" and recited all of the words to Bandiera Rossa.

Maybe next time MN run a voting poll, everyone should go on this site first... might create some big swings (and roundabouts and slides, probably).

LibDem [massive sigh of relief]
Not sure what I would have done if I'd come up as UKIP (or worse still, BNP).

Eowyn · 21/04/2010 22:53

I just did this & am Green with UKIP & 1 BNP bit, it's apalling. In Shock!

Bleatblurt · 21/04/2010 22:52

I just did it twice choosing different issues each time and both times it has said I should vote Green! Really does seem a wasted vote though so doubt I will.

Have a go, it might surprise you. We'll have you singing 'The people's flag is deepest red/It's shrouded oft our martyred dead' before the night's out...

edam, are you saying that it didn't come up with the expected result of the Monster Raving Loony Party, but instead came up with the next best thing, the Labour Party?
