had a go on this site with shocking results - didn't come up with the party I have always supported at all.

Even managed to agree with one BNP policy without knowing whose it was. Thankfully it was only bringing hospital cleaning in house but it made me panic for a moment there.

I came out as Green with 2 LH, 1 Lab and 1 Conservative alongside 3 Green - so pretty much of a mix tbh. No BNP thankfully

I managed to get a dream cabinet composed of Lib Dem2, SNP2, Green, Tory & Labour...

If it wasn't for the fact I now live in a safe conservative seat I might have difficulty choosing...

I agree, BertieBotts. I agree with one of their other policies, but doesn't change the fact they are pretty much everything-ist.

I did this twice with different policies each time.

I got Green and then Lib Dem!

Although I did manage to choose the BNP NHS policy which as BertieBotts says above, one decent policy doesn't cancel out the rest of their crap!

The BNP have one good policy which is to bring hospital cleaning back in-house (and also replace beaurecrats with actual doctors/nurses/etc, but don't know enough about this to comment) - it doesn't stand out as a BNP policy and makes sense. But one decent policy doesn't cancel out the rest of their crap!

Green, but actually three Green minister, three Lib Dem and one Conservative. I've now come out as Lib Dem, Labour and Green on three different 'how to vote' sights. They're actually quite interesting for getting bitesize versions of parties' policies, as long as your brain can work long enough to remember which was which. Impeccable record of not selecting any BNP policies so far - usually easy to spot, even when they're not downright offensive they're a sentence long with short words.

My Results were labour, with a few Lib Dems in my cabinet.

Saw this as one of the policies ''We will train and pay to retain British doctors, nurses and dentists instead of looting the Third World''. Three guesses who's policy that might be! (I didnt choose that BTW!)

mine was mostly Green, with one Libdem, one UKIP and one BNP! (the BNP one was about retraining doctors that already existed instead of getting them from abroad: my issue was more to do with creating jobs and making sure the doctors were fully trained and up-to-date than immigration....)

I surprised myself by coming out quite firmly as a Lib Dem, (not my 'usual' party) but interesting as I have been strongly considering voting for them (while dithering wildly at the same time IYKWIM).

DH got his highest percentage as BNP... he is Muslim & an immigrant. I think you have to look at core values of parties as well as policies... otherwise he might accidentally be sending himself home...

Mine got it right, which I'm amazed by as I didn't think I had particularyl strong feelings. Plus I did it in a rush. Was expecting BNP

There's a HUGE flaw with this thing, and that's that many of these 'promises' by the parties are balderdash.

For example, on a couple of issues such as environment I think, can't remember what, I got UKIP. This is clearly them saying stuff they don't mean, won't follow through and it's completely contrary to their other views which are shit, so I'd never, ever vote for them.

The website is forgetting that most of us vote based on whom we BELIEVE, not just what they say they will do!

Nearly all of mine were green, which is a bit crap because they aren't going to get anywhere near government and probably wouldn't be able to handle it if they did.

It's a waste of time basically.

Although equally startled to see Nigel Farage running my Higher Ed and Childcare policies!!!
