April 22nd TV Debate

I'm going along to be in the audience this Thursday for the Sky News TV Debate - it's being filmed in the South West, although it seems we're not supposed to say exactly where for security reasons.

Would people like an official MN behind-the-scenes report afterwards?

Should I break the rules and heckle/cheer loudly at a strategic moment, and if so then when?

If I'm allowed to ask a question should I go "off-script" and ask about biscuits?

Is there anything else I should think about?

Cameron looks like he's about to have a breakdown

DuelingFanjo · 22/04/2010 21:01

oh my god, Cameron is a Twat.

BeenBeta · 22/04/2010 21:00

I liked that very clear statment from DC on pensions, bus passes, TV licence. He needs to do that more often on other issues.

TheHeathenOfSuburbia · 22/04/2010 21:00

Ooh, nice defence on the winter fuel allowance...

rokersmum · 22/04/2010 21:00

agree fab the debate is being run much better this week making it much more interesting to listen to.

MmeLindt · 22/04/2010 21:00

Can we get Squirrel to ask Grace about her skin care routine?

teaandcakeplease · 22/04/2010 21:00

I fancy NC or whether his evil goat-eyes would put me off - LOL

FabIsGoingToGetFit · 22/04/2010 21:00

I wish, morningpaper ,

CagedBird · 22/04/2010 21:00

"It's just not right" that smile from GB was a little scary

Bumperliouzzzzzz · 22/04/2010 21:00

What about people working in minimum wages jobs who can't afford to save? What about people screwed over by their partners and left high and dry -they've not done 'the right thing?'

Ewe · 22/04/2010 20:59

Twitter is so fast! I can barely keep up.

Have some tories over though, shouldn't really be sitting here on my laptop!

vesela · 22/04/2010 20:59

"step outside, posh boy!"

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 22/04/2010 20:59

Ok, the serious qu here...

DC. Botox yet or nay?! I think oh yes!

deepdarkwood · 22/04/2010 20:59

Grace also has great skin for 84

FabIsGoingToGetFit · 22/04/2010 20:59

I agree MmeLindt.

BosomsByTheSea · 22/04/2010 20:59

NO MORE ANECDOTES.

It annoys me when GB says "I think what so and so is saying". She was very clear in what she said.

NoahAndTheWhale · 22/04/2010 20:59

Well I did get married first and then had children but have rather buggered up on the money front. So probably not quite the right thing.

mrsbean78 · 22/04/2010 20:58

Agree with DC that people should not be penalised for having savings by being forced to use them to pay for residential care.

morningpaper · 22/04/2010 20:58

Grace is FAB

wubblybubbly · 22/04/2010 20:58

Getting a bit sick of this 'doing the right thing' business like.

What, you mean people who've worked for a pittance their whole lives and haven't managed to buy a massive hoose or save a small fortune?

thatsnotmymonkey · 22/04/2010 20:58

i hate DC. total etonian tosser

SparklyGothKat · 22/04/2010 20:58

PMSL at 'BANG! and the poor are gone'

DreamsInBinary · 22/04/2010 20:58

Liking the format this time - more free and more engaging.

Can't decide whether I fancy NC or whether his evil goat-eyes would put me off.

MmeLindt · 22/04/2010 20:58

Erm, I don't think that they need to give Grace dignity. She seems pretty dignified to me.

Pendulum · 22/04/2010 20:58

"the right thing" again.

It is them and us. Or us and them.

Let's sort everyone into one of two boxes.
