Silly question but how do you know the stats re your own mp and their margin over the other parties? Have moved to new area and would be very interested to get this info for my new neighbourhood. Thanks.

I'm voting LibDem. I'm a Labour supporter, but living in a Lib Dem constituency with a strong Conservative challenger, so tactical voting is necessary. After last night, though, I actually found myself thinking I might have done it anyway.

i am going to because they lost to labour by just 400 votes in my constituency last time, no other party was anywhwere near so it's basically a lib dem, or labour decision.

ps don't forget it's libdem that wants voting reform, and constantly pushes it.

i think mine's a safe tory seat, but i have always always always voted libdem because they're the only ones who can bring real change (as opposed to passing the baton between the 2 parties decade after decade)

NC did very well last night but can you imagine him at a G8 summit or at the Whitehouse debating the fight against terrorism with Barack?

honestly I think I will. I can't see that either of the other 2 main parties can bring anything good to Britain tbh, and can't help feeling that the others would be a wasted vote. Haven't had anything through from the local Lib Dem candidate yet mind you, so I'll let that be my decider I think. Don't really like the sound of my local labour candidate - too false and nicey-nicey imo.

I'm in a once safe Tory seat (until they put a trust fund idiot in). Its now a top marginal Lib Dem/Tory. Will probably vote lib dem although the latest Tory has been good, DH is thinking of vaoting tactically Lib Dem to get Vince Cable in.

Nobody else has a chance here (if it was purely protest I'd probably vote Peace).

I'm torn, tbh. I'm a historic long term LibDem voter in a LibDem seat with a new candidate, who I'm not too sure about.

But we're also the only UK seat where the Green party has even a marginal chance of landing an MP. I find the Green Party's policies exciting and would like to see them with an MP in a hung parliament to give them a chance to get the polices onto the political agenda.

I'm voting Lib Dem. they don't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning in my true-blue area, but that's no reason not to vote for them!

I am going to vote Lib Dem. I'm normally Labour, but don't agree with most of thier policies. TBH the main reason I vote is because the BNP are quite strong in my area and I would hate to not vote and let them in.

Just to say I will vote after all previous generations fought hard for my right to vote and I value it. I just know it will make sod all difference where I am. A system of fair votes is well overdue.

I only came across that website recently when the Digital Economy Bill was about to be read (on the day the Election was announced, so news media covered Gordon Brown and others, and gave little time to the Bill being pushed through that same day, and then into the Lords on Wednesday 7th).

If there was P.R. then every vote cast would count and we'd get away from claims that "voting for X is a 'wasted vote'"

If people who say "it won't matter" actually voted, then once again, after the election, the numbers would show (again) that "first past the post" isn't very democratic.

In my area the Tories have more votes than all the other parties put together! IT's hard to even get the will up to go and vote seeing how many Tory posters are in windows. I'll vote Lib Dem, but it barely matters.

Yes - I'm Lib-Dem anyway. I would vote Labour if they had a chance of kicking the Tory out round here.

I think I will, but I keep changing my mind. I come back to Lib Dem more than the others, though. Problem is where I live the history has been something like 40% conservative, 40.5% labour, 15% lib dem. So very competitive between labour/conservative and not much bother about lib dem.
