So who is actually going to VOTE Lib Dem then?

Because I reckon if everyone who says they agree most with the Lib Dems actually voted for them, they'd have a real chance. So how about it?

I think its the Tories who are afraid of losing to the Lib Dem's who are causing all this confusion. Cameron is already jumping on the "hung parliment" issue so people question their vote. I am voting Lib Dem only because I cant vote Green in my area, but LibDem is better than the other two by far!

Vote Clegg, get Clegg. YouGov poll was similar. If you want Clegg and don't believe Tory "vote Clegg, get Brown" campaign, then you will get Clegg.

I don't want either Brown or Cameron so I can't see why I would vote for either tbh. There's no need for tactical voting here.

Clegg is pretty good I think and actually yes, I can imagine him at a G8 summit.

I am - we've got a sign up and everything - we're in a lib dem marginal with a tory challenger parachuted in from head office who isnt local though grr so its an easy decision...

I am voting LibDem. I can see Nick Clegg at the G8, and moreover, I see him with Barack Obama much more than either Cameron or Brown (well, I know Brown has already been there). LibDems are the only ones that can bring real change and they have a really good chance now. I would also be very happy to see Cable in charge of the economy. I am voting LibDem both locally and nationally. I can see that it may sometimes be necessary to do a strategic vote locally, but nationally it is never a vasted vote.

Gosh, I sound like a seasoned Lib Dem. The truth is I am not! This is the first time I will vote for them, but they have convinced me!

It's not a wasted vote if you do use your vote though. If everyone who'd like to vote Lib Dem does vote Lib Dem, then it's not a wasted vote. It's only a wastedvite if you don't vote!!!!

I will be voting Lib Dem - we're in a super-marginal Lib Dem/Conservative constituency (top 10 Conservative target). I've been told a bit half-heartedly by the Conservative candidate today that 'you don't have to vote for Gordon Brown to get him back in' ... it's definitely a concern, but I will NOT vote Conservative in a general election (candidate is actually quite a decent chap however).

Agree with OP, I think this year is the year they could get in if people vote for what they really believe in instead of for the lesser of 2 evils.

They have never represented us around here, but like OP says, if everyone who says that they support their policies actually votes for them then who knows!

I would, but LibDems currently polled in 4th position (brhind UKIP) in my constituency

So sadly feel it really would be a wasted vote

BaDaBing - it used to be available on findyourmp.parliament.uk/ but they don't list them during the election because parliament is dissolve - sorry.
