It's a shame that the march was stopped because I would have loved for them to have arrived at their destination.

Talking of maps, remember when the Global March to Gaza was actually marching to some Egyptian beach resort?

Dear god. It would be funny if they weren't so dangerous.

Yes, looking at maps might be a start.

😆 🤣

That would blow the fuckwits' minds if they had to study that map!

Oh Trans for Palestine is a LGBQT thing

I thought they were referring to Trans Jordan because the population is 60% to 70% Pals or decendants of Pals

Did think it was odd that lot championing the real pal state rather than their normal calls to destroy Israel to create a second Pal state

That would blow the fuckwits' minds if they had to study that map!

She knew the hatred against Jews, that outweighed the love for the haters' own people. I loved the portrayal of Golda in the film Munich.

She said that her concern was that their hatred meant that they would launch wars, no matter the impact on their own people. A good example being what's happened in Gaza. Hamas don't care.

True! 😂 She actually wore a hijab and travelled by taxi! It all went wrong with the Yom Kippur War of course. Something a certain group also don't understand.
I've read the biographies of Meir and also Moshe Dayan - he was born in Palestine, of course.
True about Clinton.

I should really read those too, sounds interesting

Put them on my book list thanks

ScarlettOYara · 11/10/2026 11:03

Yes! Very true, @Neverstopwondering. The whole geography of the area, with historical boundaries, seems mysterious to some.

I think there's a lot of wilful ignorance as well as prejudice. Sometimes at an astonishing level.
There was a trans rally in my town a few weeks ago. There were Palestinian flags and banners reading "Trans for Palestine".
If it wasn't so tragic, I would have laughed.

Yep one thing that he actually tried to do right. I heard him talk about it a while ago and it seems like something he was passionate about and still regrets didn't happen.

"Golda Meir went undercover" This made me chuckle the idea that she could be unrecognisable anywhere. She was rather unique looking like myself but I get what you mean they sneaked here in.

Yes, Arafat was the one who created that flag as well; the Jordanian one with the cedar tree removed. A veiled threat to the Jordanians about that land.
I've read a lot about various Accords and how many hours, days and months of hard work went into them. I read that Golda Meir went undercover into neighbouring lands to personally negotiate.
It's a shame about Clinton's legacy, because he worked hard on this.

Bill Clinton for all his many many horrorific faults got a 97% of land wanted by Pals agreement with Israel plus a 3% land swap of rest of land. However Ararat famously preferred to keep the conflict going.

Ararat was the worst thing that ever happened to the people of Gaza and what they call they west bank. However the fuckwitts still wear his traditional Iraqi scarf like he is some kind of hero. He is only a hero if you like blood shed and ti destroy innocent lives of children for generations.

Fuckwits sums them up perfectly. Parading around wearing a symbol of war and destruction so they can shout at other people for how they support baby killers.

And that is all the majority of Jewish people want

However when some cretins hear the words Jewish homeland they immediately without understanding Jewish history of in other countries around the world think it is 100% about religion.

Very simplistic view used to demonise Jews who just want to keep their own people safe. Something that other groups of people especially minority groups like Jews are normally allowed the grace by modern society to campaign for and do wherever possible.

If people aren't safe then we should be dealing with it in the UK. We have strict rules and we shouldn't tolerate it.

We should behave like adults and treat each other with respect.

You're addressing this to the wrong side - the side that just wants to be left alone.

The aggressor is the only one that can stop the conflict. The one with the mandate to annihilate the Jewish state and drive the Jews into the sea. In this conflict, all sides are putting pressure on the persecuted - it can't be solved that way.

Neverstopwondering · 11/10/2026 10:47

ScarlettOYara · 11/10/2026 10:33

Those statistics are shocking, but tell a story. A Jewish homeland, with secure borders, is essential.

It's a somewhat intractable, long running, geo-political conflict which some people believe will be solved by simplistic slogans and chants, or ditching "religious mumbo jumbo" (sic).
The more I read of it, the more I admire people who have worked on various Peace Accords, like Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Golda Meir, Anwar Sadat, Menachem Begin among others. Some paid with their lives.

Zionism is as catchy as racist, being the trendy words used to fight keyboard warrior battles with. Lazy, unsubstantiated claims trying to make the warrior look the better person.

Or they link it with Apartheid. It is lazy and it's ignorant, but worse, it's bigotry.

ScarlettOYara · 11/10/2026 10:33

This is what Jewish people are against and why the Israeli Jewish population is made up of more than fifty percent Middle Eastern Jews.

This picture is what antizionism means and why most Jewish people even if not religious belive in zionism

People that speak about zionism or zionists in a negative manner are amazingly ignorant. It isn't just about religion, it is about the survival of millions of people.

I think we have a duty to stop any genocide, by all means necessary. It's called defending yourself.

Zionists are a political movement that are using religion to justify their aims. The extremists are using to use it as an excuse to steal land, kill, discriminate and it's extreme cases justify genocide.

This is a play book which we have seen used for thousands of years to commit all sorts of heinous acts. Thankfully most of us put our faith in science rather than fiction. But I'm more than happy for people to have an imaginary friend as long as they don't use it as an excuse to start wars, beat their wives, destroy their childrens sexual organs and just generally use some obscure writing to justify something that suits their opinions.

Edited

It's not a genocide; the population of Gaza is growing. You also stated before that there are limits to how one should defend themselves. You're really speaking from a privileged position - not from being held hostate in a tunnel or from seeing your relatives and friends bound by wire then burned to death. That's what genocide really is; going door to door in a kibbutz to hunt down and slaughter people for their race.
