TLDR thread but if it hasn't already come up I was listening to LBC today and the reporter said there is legislation going through the Lords to limit donations to £100k. If successful it's backdated to April this year I think he said.

I don’t think it means they have to give the £72m back.

Me neither. I think it probably boils down to the values that you were raised with.

But I do at least appreciate the pp's honesty. I would far prefer a genuine admission of the fact that someone doesn't care about about anything except their own self interest than self interest dressed up as patriotism or some other shit.
