I'm not sure I understand your question.
The way America's government is set up, we're in an awful situation where all three branches of government - which is theoretically supposed to be a system of checks and balances - have been commandeered by one political party, the Republicans, which has been taken over by Trump and his slavish followers.
Sane Americans do what they can, but they are greatly hobbled. Everything now depends on the mid-term elections which are coming up in about eight weeks. If Democrats have substantial wins - which is now starting to seem like a possibility - things may change.

Of course it's not confined to one man.

But this is a bizarre and horrifying situation where one man is wreaking damage like never before in the contemporary world - and he's a catalyst, spreading it abroad as well.

I also find it alarming that no one - meaning ordinary people - seems to have any power now. Not even in ‘the land of the free’. France is the only country I’m aware of where public pressure, aka rioting, has really resulted in stopping the government from doing something they really wanted to, backed by neoliberalist theory.

There’s always plenty of people asking why natives of poor countries don’t do this or that to drive out their leaders. America is changing to a tyranny with leadership-worship in front of our eyes, threatening old allies, yet its people can do nothing to stop it. What chance has anyone else got?

This is worrying and I am also worried that I haven’t seen anything about this in the main news. Unless anyone else has I worry this means the UK will quietly stab our real allies in the back to continue sucking up to America. We need to get real about defence and recognise we belong in Europe.

Well, that's half true. The sane half objects vehemently. The Trumpy half is only concerned with personal convenience and enjoys bullying.

I aurgued this on another thread the other day, that many people are ignoring the very real threat from America and Israel to world peace and the economy, because all the focus is on Russia. You wouldn't believe the sneering from some posters who clearly thought i was some kind of crank! So many people are totally naive and think Trump is all bluster (how can they believe that when hes literally causing us damage every day?!) And they think Israel is nothing to do with us and cant affect us 🤦‍♀️ Some people need to wake up.

Let's not start having a go at random Americans who may be as horrified by what's happening as we are. We don't actually know what individual posters might be doing to fight Trump in the US.

Typical “not my president” making it all about you while the world burns and you’re doing absolutely nothing to push for change to fix this. Only Americans can afford to wallow in self pity right now. Our European economy and future peace and safety are falling off a cliff. I can’t roll my eyes hard enough without dislocating something.

I think there has been a lot of gaslighting that the threat of war is coming from a different direction and it’s now becoming clear where the true threat is.

It’s terrifying territory as the US has always been with us not against us, but Trump is only for himself.

Kind of hoping maybe Mother Nature will save the day at this point.

As an American, I am horrified at everything about Trump, surely the most bigoted, bullying, blood-thirsty, lying, vicious, vulgar, vindictive, selfish, self-serving, self-aggrandizing, self-dealing, meretricious, murderous, grifting, greedy, cruel, corrupt, heartless, ignorant, criminal president of all time. And especially horrified at the way he is damaging American's traditional alliances, while cozying up to the worst authoritarian dictators. I hope none of you ever have to experience the pain and shame of this.

The idea of our allies declaring war on America is just too mind-boggling to contemplate. I can only hope it won't come to that.

I had missed that there is oil under Greenland. I know about many ore deposits, copper and common metals to the exotic such as tantalum.
An oil spill, accidental or "accidental" would be very serious there. Mining would have lower ecological risk.
Some development should be permitted to bring money into the region.
