Thoughts on Calvin Robinson and his followers?

There are two subjects concerning replacement and they're very different, and are being confused here:

Replacement theology - the church replaces Israel. i.e. when reading the OT anywhere Israel is mentioned you can substitute the Church. The promises given to Israel were forfeited and now come to the Church. It's a horrible, antisemitic view but is increasingly common in Christian circles.

(Great) replacement theory is that the white, natural people of a country are being deliberately replaced by Muslims.

Great replacement theory also has anti-Semitic undertones since I think the idea is that the replacement is happening due to the secret scheming of the Jews. Although the ones doing the actual replacing will be Muslims. But some people seem to stick with the anti-Muslim bit only.

I’ve got to come on here after what is honestly the most flabbergasting post I have seen this week.

For anyone who doesn’t know, my understanding is that Calvin Robinson is a far-right commentator and priest (though I recall some issue of him no longer being allowed to be a member of the clergy in this country due to his views - may be wrong on that though). I believe he is also good friends with Laurence Fox.

He has today made this Facebook post criticising our Home Secretary.

Don’t get me wrong, there are certainly things to critique her for but this is just completely unhinged.

I knew vaguely of him as a right-wing commentator but to me this is another level.

In particular his comment that only white Christian men should be allowed to hold any power. Not to mention the anti-semitism that he spouts.

But what surprised me even more was the women commenting on his post agreeing with him!! I truly do not understand how they can sit there and say “yes please take my rights away”. The Handmaid’s Tale and Serena Joy springs to mind!

It genuinely concerns me for the state of this country. Not just that one loon will spout rubbish to get attention, but the amount of people who support it!

Yes. The original "great replacement" I remember is it was the Jews doing shady deals and manipulation of western Governments to bring in vast numbers of Muslims. As some sort of punishment. But that changed of course because the far right re-invented themselves as "Israels best pal", the "defenders of Jews", against the even more hated enemy of the bobble hatted "leftist".

So now it the great unwashed leftist movement who want to bring about the destruction of "Western Civilisation", and the Austrian Corporal was actually a leftest all the time anyway. But he did get the trains running on time.
