No. If he meant one incident, he could have said that. He carefully chose to say one murder to give a false impression of what happened at Dunblane. Deliberately said it to mislead the show's audience.

I honestly don't understand the electoral logic in wanting to relax gun laws. The public already get annoyed about the level of knife crime. There is no public will to want owning a gun made easier. We've never been a gun owning culture so it's not even something you whip up cheap nostalgia about.

This is a complete false equivalence. Cars are a form of transport that are sometimes in accidents. Guns are made to use to shoot and kill things. Your argument sounds like Charlie Kirk positing whether cars should be banned. Most car fatalities are accidental, most gun fatalities are not. There are way more cars in the world than there are guns. Your argument does not stack.

One of the reasons we in the UK have relatively few mass shootings , unlike the US, is because of the tighter gun laws bought in after Dunblane. Lowe needs to remember, it wasn’t one murder, his comments are a disgrace and if arming Britain like the US is a goal of Lowe and Farage for their respective parties, we have to hope they never gain power

I have no idea why they seem to want to make us into the US in every way, it seems, not just gun laws. Lowe or Farage would completely sell us out and we’d end up like the 51st state.

A lot of American republicans are completely brainwashed. They never leave the country and have been told that the UK is a crime ridden communist hell hole.

I despair every day that so many of the British electorate are happily sleep walking into this dystopian shitshow thinking it will somehow be better.
