What I would like to ask Reform supporters what are the specific Reform policies they support?

People were aware of the £5 million before the local elections.

There's a park at the end of my road where the junkies wait for their dealers who tend to be black or brown. Someone upthread even said something patronising about a doctor in a niqab as though some of us would find this shocking. Women in niqabs walk past my house every day. So what? I think a lot of people would have voted reform as the best chance to keep the greens, who are dangerous, out.

Introduce new visa rules for international students that bar dependents.
Deport foreign nationals immediately after their prison sentence ends.
Bank of England to Stop Paying Interest to Commercial Banks on QE Reserves.
Cut Residential Stamp Duty to 0% below £750k.
Lift the Income Tax Start Point to £20,000 Per Year.
Abolish Inheritance Tax (IHT) for all Estates Under £2m.
Scrap environmental levies.
Scrap Net Zero and Related Subsidies.
Start fast-track licences of North Sea gas and oil. Grant shale gas licences on test sites for 2 years.
Fast-track clean nuclear energy with new Small Modular Reactors, built in Britain.
Recruitment to increase UK per capita police numbers to 300 per 100k population.
Ban Transgender Ideology in Primary and Secondary Schools.
Personal Independence Payment and Work Capability Assessment should be face to face.
Increase basic pay across our armed forces to boost recruitment and retention.
Public toilets and changing areas must provide single sex facilities.
Legislate to ban ULEZ Clean Air Zones and Low Traffic Neighbourhoods.
Every foreign fishing vessel must pay for a licence to gain access to the UK’s 200 nautical mile Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
Ban Dutch vessels from electric pulse fishing in Britain’s 200 mile EEZ.
Amend the Mineworkers Pension Scheme arrangements so that all the
scheme surpluses accrue to the Mineworkers.
Surveillance of the public must be limited and those monitoring us held to account.

I could go on, but these are just some of the Reform policies that I agree with.

Seeking understanding is a good thing to most reasonable people. Much better than burying your head in the sand when an obvious sea change is happening.

I asked once (not constantly) in response to a poster who said they felt nobody was interested in the motivation behind the way people voted.

I didn't lose. There was no voting in my area this week.

If I want to avoid Reform voters, I hide in a library.

Just that really. I am a Labour voter, and I know what Labour policies I support. I think I know what Conservative and Lib Dem policies their supporters like. I don't know about Reform.

I am seeing the reasons, reason really for some (not all), people may vote Reform in a GE - is this solely why they won in councils? It’s a shame really it has to be so as I used to vote locally less on political lines and more on the individual- saying that I drew the line at extreme parties - and yes I would have included Reform in that.

Just to throw in, I may have done before, and have elsewhere. I do live bang opposite one of these hotels and I recognise nothing of what is said here. I see more potential hassle with the white drug dealers/users also close by in the summer particularly. Though if I don’t bother them they’re surely not bothering me - maybe folk could try this approach.

I think integration could be better - but that is also heavily on us cutting funding for such as ESOL and threatening to burn folk alive really imo.

I realised lately that actually I feel more in danger in 2 heavily right wing areas in my city than any other. I don’t even like driving through them tbh and I’m pretty fine (lax lol) with my personal safety. It’s the anger that vibrates and makes me nervous - bit early to tell but not sure it’s going to improve as they got a Reform councillor in their ward - tbh they’re still angry winning.

I also went on the last Tommy March (as the counter protest side) - disappointed to be so heavily outnumbered for sure, but not wishing to stamp all over anyone - the biggest side were scarily angry instead of just happy about their numbers. I genuinely fear this level of anger and think Reform just pumps its up.

I KNOW they don't have to. But if they don't then they can't complain that nobody understands why they vote as they do.

I couldn’t care less if people don’t understand why I vote. It’s my choice and does not have to be explained to anyone.

Anyone who votes Labour or Green is absolutely clueless. Green leader has made many antisemitism comments. Labour have emboldened the hatred for Jews by recognising Palestine and appealing to the Muslim vote. Unfortunately, for people like you until your daughter or grandaughter gets SA by one of these immigrants illegals then you will never see the light. If you love them so much offer to host them, live with them then you find out sharpish about them. You only need to see the countless stories about them.

You can take a horse to water and show it sense but unfortunately it won’t drink it.
