So according to Reeves it is all going swimmingly, Labour are doing a great job, and we should all be grateful.

She lives in a different world.

Growth revised down and unemployment up, especially youth unemployment.

How was Miliband able to reduce our energy bills from April by 7% -he said it was thanks to taxing the rich which sounds like outright lies to me. 7% of everybody’s bills is £millions.
I know this might change now due to war etc but where oh where did they suddenly magic up all that money ????????

They are not explaining.

They just make it up. Like claiming they has a policy that is going to save pubs rates, when it only saves they a small proportion of the Reeves tax increases.

They have awarded themselves a 5% pay rise so that's all good then.

Unemployment up, especially amongst younger people. Still can't get GPs appointments, fortunately I can afford private GP

itsthetea · 03/03/2026 13:08

yiu can’t point out that things are actually getting better

partly because it takes a long time to filter through to how you feel about life

BurntBroccoli · 03/03/2026 13:04

It was actually improving (until Trump decided to attack Iran to distract from the Epstein files…

However:
• Inflation down
• Interest rates down
• Waiting lists down dramatically
• Net migration halved
• Economy grown
• Energy price cap coming down by 7%
• Strikes ended
• Breakfast clubs and free school meals
• Rail fares frozen
