This is why GB news are racist to bring it up, because they never report on the white grooming gangs, who are by far the largest number of perpetrators.

Is that nit the point of Lowes enquiry, survivors quit the government enquiry because they said the government was tryign to direct what they could say and were gagging them. They engaged with this one for a reason.

I think this crosses political lines, I’m suspicious of anyone criticising this as being political. Listening to a woman talk about being abused as a child and doing something about it isn’t a political act it is about justice. Regardless of how you would vote in a general election or your views on immigration, a massive injustice has been committed and trying to silence people is the same as saying people are “weaponising rape” which is the most vomit inducing phrase I have ever come across in my life and what some of the criticisms of this enquiry sound like.

Either children were raped or they weren’t. Either it was covered up or it wasn’t. It’s extremely simple to my mind. Either we listen to victims who are speaking out to make sure people are held to account or we ignore them so we don’t give succour to reform (who by the way kicked Lowe out if their party, he’s an independent). To my mind being on the right side here is to side with the victims.

I’m really sick of accusations of weaponising atrocities against children, it’s so dismissive. Girls were talking about having keys shoved in their vaginas. It’s so grotesque and yet people will say “ssssshhhhhh you don’t want to look racist do you”.

I feel you're absolutely right. What's evident across discussions about grooming gangs and the Epstein files is that people are using them as a tool to further or confirm their own political aims or beliefs.

The focus should never stray from the victims of these absolutely vile crimes and getting them justice and working for change that makes sure things like this do not happen again.

The evidence coming out is just horrific. The sheer hatred that those men must feel for young British girls is evident in the torture and degradation - it was/is far more than sexual.

The BBC has a lot of issues. Separate subject but they were clinging onto the term female/person all day yesterday regarding the Canadian shooter.

I’d say people are equally up in arms about the Epstein sex trafficking, which is only now becoming clearer. That’s white men trafficking.

It’s totally inaccurate to say people only care when brown men are the abusers. But they are doubly angry- angry at the abuse, and angry that it was covered up/continued unchallenged because of the race of the perpetrators and fear of unrest as a result. If you keep peddling that, then you as complicit as the original whitewashers.

Well aside from the fact that they deliberately picked vulnerable girls from care homes, there were parents of children who went to the police and were sent away after being told it was their daughter's choice to go with these men.

Some of us, perhaps especially those of us who were abused by white men or in predominantly white institutions, are a bit bemused by seeing sexual abuse weaponised by anti immigrant politicians (the grooming gangs) or anti-Starmer politicians (the Epstein papers).

It's almost as if some people only care about abuse when it serves their political aims. Whereas the truth is, wherever there are men, there is abuse, and it has often been covered up, ignored or not taken seriously.

The same papers that are now baying for blood absolutely normalised perving on young girls, using 16 year old Page 3 models, counting down to child celebrities turning 16 etc.

Reform have accepted money from Crispin Odey, who has multiple accusations of sexual misconduct and Reform MP James McMurdoch was jailed for physical abuse of his girlfriend. You will find abuse and misogyny in every class, race and institution. The only common factor is that the perpetrators are overwhelmingly men, with a tiny number of women actively involved - not unheard of but very, very rare.

I am seeing Reform post the graphic details of the grooming gang assaults on Facebook and my heart weeps for those poor girls. But I don't believe Reform have any interest in rape victims unless they can make political capital out of them.

All in the name of social cohesion.

I have written to my MP to ask why UK statistics are not available for the ethnicity of perpetrators of crime, the ethnicity of victims is recorded.

There is an ongoing complaint about Trump being able to state that parts of London are under Sharia law, that climate change is a hoax, and that life expectation in Glasgow is 57.

Those are untruths that GB News let stand and did not contradict in a recent interview. The presenter agreed with him and claimed that the US feels safer than the UK.

Please don't let yourself believe GB News is unbiased just because it may confirm your own beliefs.

What is actually happening now, like this week, that is not being reported?

Perhaps it's because the very institutions that should have protected the girls were afraid of being labelled racist and Islamosceptic. So ordinary people will keep quiet for fear of the same slurs.

Women who were raped and tortured as children are talking about their experiences. One woman as a 12 year old had a bottle forced into her vagina which then cracked, she was 12. The level of sadism is extraordinary.

I don’t think this whole “it’s racist to talk about this” thing is going to work anymore. I don’t think it’s racist and I’m from an ethnic minority. The scale of the coverup and the collusion of the police and social workers is really coming to light because the victims can talk about what happened to them without a filter and with everything included. They should have a damn voice, they were just kids. If you care more about Lowe than you do about the industrialised rape of children then I really don’t believe you occupy a moral high ground here.

A mother said the police literally drove her daughter to a rapists house even though she begged them not to.

I’ve been following Rupert Lowe’s victim testimonies on X and they are absolutely horrific. One girl was trafficked for sex to a house where she said there was another girl dead in the bath tub. There’s a reason the BBC won’t cover this because it is absolutely horrific, horrific beyond imagination and the amount of institutional cover ups are huge.

The Official enquiry that has yet to make any progress has a chair that has undoubtedly been recruited to cover up so much. No wonder several of the victims resigned from it.

“Where were the parents?” - JFC - open your eyes, read the testimonies, do some research. This is the biggest scandal to ever affect our country.

I firmly believe that ALL the perpetrators of these crimes should be punished to the full extent of the law. But in reality I think nothing will happen. The government and the media will cover it up and it will be forgotten over time. The same with the Epstein Files.

Everyone knows the BBC are biased in their reporting. They are very left wing. They even reported Trump said things he didn't ever say. They should be abolished.
