Is the murder of Renee Good by Trump's immigration police news in the U.K.?

As Trump keeps pursuing this insane violent crackdown, supposedly on illegal immigrants, but actually much beyond that - A woman in Minneapolis was shot, in her car. Luckily there is a ton of video, but Trump's people are already maligning her, and it's a horrible tragedy.

Don’t forget that Trump himself has pardoned the January 6 insurrectionists.

He has, of course, pardoned many criminals who supported him, as well as criminals whose crimes resemble his own - like fraudsters.

And probably employed them as IVE

That would surprise approximately… nobody.

ghostyslovesheets · 25/01/2026 16:35

ICE ffs!

It’s just another example of how far America has fallen I think.

And now we have another example of this. The whole world is watching in disgust.

Trumpers like shooters who murder people they consider to be liberal.

What evidence do you have for your statement? Trump is the one famous for projection.

My statement stands: Trumpers enjoy it when liberals are attacked. They were gleeful with the husband of top Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi was attacked with a hammer. They supported teenage Kyle Rittenhouse when he stole a gun, took it to a protest and shot two people. We see this over and over. Trump himself hinted that Hillary Clinton should be assassinated.

And Charlie Kirk wasn't "just speaking" with college kids. Kirk was known for - in the Trumper phrase - "indoctrinating" them. He seems to have been fairly ignorant himself (except for the clever way he promoted himself), but was misleading people and was creating the next generation of Trumpers - people who consistently go against the public will, like agitating favoring guns but banning abortion.

Endless projection by the left. I remember when Charlie Kirk died and people here said they were glad.

He was just speaking with college kids. He certainly wasn’t driving an SUV at a federal agent.

Let’s not forget leftists crying about how Trumps would-be assassin should have had better aim …

Look to yourselves.

I guess telling yourself that somehow makes you feel better about yourself, so crack on.

I believe his exact words after getting hit by an SUV were ‘fucking bitch’ which tbh I might have said something even worse if I was hit by a car by someone being extremely negligent AT BEST

And my point was that in between not getting hit by an SUV and calling her a fucking bitch, there was the small step where he was able to relieve his emotional overload by shooting her three times and killing her. If you can't see the import of the timing in this instance, you're so rancid I find it hard to believe you haven't yet rotted from the inside out.

They know. This is a pattern of posting…

It’s not murder if you are driving your car at someone. Even if she wasn’t trying, she actually literally hit him with her car

I think people don't really understand Trump supporters, but reactions to the murder of Renee Good should be a lesson.

In the hours following her murder, the immediate response of POTUS and the WH administration was to lie and smear the victim. This was enough for Trump supporters who believe in him. He said it, they believe it because he said it. After that they got enough to confuse them and argue that it didn't happen, or what the ICE Agent did wasn't that bad, and even if it was she deserved it. Sigh of relief for them, their belief in Trump is safe, despite the evidence.

Other Trump supporters support him because they want to see people suffer. Women, poor folk, the middle class, non-whites, gays, Jews, liberals, Muslims, civil servants, rich people, Hispanics, immigrants. Bitter, angry, hateful people who followed Trump because he is just like them. They get a buzz out of her murder. She was a passionate, liberal, gay, American woman, everything they hate.

Edited

Yes, this is it. I think the stupid ones are a liability, but the ones who actually know what he is and don’t care anyway are scary. The very worst ones of all, truly the abyss, are those who are enjoying it. You don’t have to look very far at all to find those…

But he wasnt?

Clearly evidenced by the fact of him sauntering off while she was shot dead.

All he has to prove is a reasonable fear that he was at immediate risk of death or serious injury.

But he wasnt?

Tender age shelters. This is what Trump supporters are responsible for:

i’m not sure how to share the footage of seasoned journalist Rachel Maddow breaking down in tears while trying to report on this. It’s on Instagram though, and I don’t want to reveal my identity through sharing it. But you will certainly get the gist from these articles. Evil.

At least 3 "tender age" shelters set up for child migrants

The Trump administration has set up at least three "tender age" shelters to detain babies and other young children who have been forcibly separated from their parents at the U.S.

Your world can't be that black and white.

If a poster is still defending Trump at this point, I think you can assume, yes, it is, because they lack either the desire or capacity for it to be otherwise.

Fair point.

Listening to Jennifer Welsh talking about how creepy evangelicals love punching down. ICE shows that in action

Isn't it amazing the levels that the American justice system has sunk to.

Does she get the same opportunity?

Well quite.

You’re quite right, it’s easy for them to murder people with impunity.

Well quite - that's what happens to gun toting morons when they shoot someone in the head as they're trying to get away from them.

The shot by shot, multi camera analyses really don’t show the agent definitively being hit by her car. They do show him crossing in front of her car twice, though, her clearly reversing and then turning the wheel to the right before slowly moving forward in order to leave the area.

The agent switches his phone from one hand to the other, lifts his gun out of his holster and fires once through the windscreen and twice through the driver side window. One of these was the bullet that entered through the left side of her head and exited through the right.

What is absolutely evident, apart from him shooting her three times and calling her a fucking bitch afterwards, is that he himself turned the car into a lethal weapon by shooting and incapacitating the driver, therefore leading to it speeding off, uncontrolled, and luckily not hitting another person. Although I have to say, I doubt that would’ve bothered the agent.

That you won’t even admit he was hit but the car is really poor showing.

I don’t think she intended to, but she ended up driving toward him and did hit him. In the end, it was a good thing he was recording, ended up saving him tbh. I would recommend all ICE agents wear body cams, will keep both sides honest

GoodGriefCharlie · 23/01/2026 17:14

It’s really good to have some compassion as a counterpoint on this thread though! This thread needs a lot of that to dilute the… opposite.

He really is. America has shifted towards a dictatorship in just a few years - it's horrifying to watch. Nothing great about it whatsoever.

Yes, the US is close to the point of no return where it will be impossible to pull out of this terrifying nosedive.

I think, even if it’s somehow pulled back, the knowledge that we are truly surrounded by people with zero compassion changes everything.

SirChenjins · 23/01/2026 16:59

Excellent post @GoodGriefCharlie - absolutely horrific what ICE did that day
