An article in the Independent today claims that us mums here on mumsnet support the Reform party, I was horrified to think mums of our future generations would support a grifter like Farage. So I’m conducting this poll.

I'm sick of the hatred and division that reptile feeds and thrives on.

If @MNHQ put a requirement that posters/users had to have a minimum of say 3 months good faith usage of the site (ie they are actually PARENTS) before posting/voting on serious political threads…

It would be an entirely different landscape.

The site is far too open imo for manipulation and bots for any sort of data obtained to be taken seriously. All traffic is good traffic; I can understand that pov but let’s not pretend that things aren’t open to manipulation.
Have we learned nothing from what happened with Cambridge Analytica?

That’s just my opinion. Hope I am free to express it.

The article says that 20% of mumsnet users say they would vote Reform.

A much larger percent said that they were politcally homeless because there was no decent party to vote for.

It’s such fake hype.

MN and Reform isn’t about politics, it’s about MN being easily flooded by bad faith posters and AI bots.

The real story is about the number of actual women who feel let down by politicians of all parties, from that misogynistic prick Zack Polanski to the SNP to the Lib Dems and Labour. And let’s not forget the Tory insouciance that got us into this mess under May, Mordaunt and Nokes.

THAT’S the story. And fuck Reform.
