Can you name one current political figure you admire?

Preferably in this country (UK) but could be international. One person who seems inspiring, hard working, well intentioned, pioneering or any other characteristic you admire.

Hopefully she would actually ask me about it though, rather than assuming she knew my choices and situation better than I do.

If there were no need for single sex schooling I feel it odd that boys get so many free options for it.

I know this won't be a popular choice but Jess Phillips. I know she would absolutely hate me because my kid goes to private school, but I really like how bold she is. Even that she is a bit annoyingly so at times. I think she has charisma and I do think she believes she will make a difference and is determined to try her best. Women and girls need a strong force in their corner. Ironically if girls had single sex state schools that weren't grammars in my county I wouldn't have needed to pay for private, so maybe she'd like to have a look at why there are so many single sex options for boys and not girls...?

She appears on top of her education portfolio and will do the right thing apropos the EHRC recommendations.

She's a spiteful.destroyer of the lives of children that live in the UK (ie children she is responsible for, even if they used to go to private school). She's also attacking for idealogical the reforms made in education that have raised England significantly in the world league tables. This will lower the life chances of children in the UK. She can't see the wood for the trees. She's the most immoral person in government at the moment.

Is it not refreshing to see a politician be incredibly vocal about what they’re going to do on their election campaign and then actually follow through with getting it done?

For the record I think he’s abhorrent and one of the few people who should NOT be doing all the crazy shit he promised. But it’s a different take on what should/should not be admired. At the end of the day he’s doing exactly what his voters want him to do which is something our Labour Party have failed to achieve

I can name quite a few locally I admire- from the States of Guernsey- but I can't think of any in the UK. Ed Davey, perhaps, as while I certainly don't agree with him on anything he comes across as good-natured and community-minded.
