Does anyone remember when Margaret Thatcher died "Ding dong the witch is dead." As long as no one out there attempts to assassinate DT again, then it's okay to dream of his demise, and death.

gardensparkle · 31/08/2025 00:25

He's playing golf

Found a different picture of him this morning.

It's pointed out he's wearing socks and sandals, indicates swelling as he doesn't usually wear that golfing.

I think they are white shoes with a navy stripe, along the lines of these (pictured), not socks and sandals.

He is tall, I suspect he was six foot three when younger and keeps to that, but we lose height as we age - statistically he's probably lost a couple of inches.

I'm interested in how some people's assessment of his health is filtered by not liking him. When he got Covid, there was a real conviction on liberal threads that he would inevitably die because he was so unhealthy, despite him having few risk factors aside from age, and a very high likelihood of being fine.

If people like him, perhaps they see him more as a robust old war-horse of the John Wayne type.

Some people, by contrast, seemed unable to see Biden's truly frail health.

Donald Trump is not a healthy man.
He has a terrible diet.
He is morbidly obese.
He is lacking in concentration and memory.
He displays signs and symptoms of physical illness.
And mental decline.

We know we cant trust WH doctors to tell the truth if they won't even tell us the truth about Trump's current height. Didn't they lie for Biden?

Why the fuck should we trust them about Trump?

I dislike Steve Bannon but he apparently compared Trump sitting down to a giant shrimp which really made me lol.
The man's got terrible posture.

Is there a reason we're knocking a couple of inches off his height? He looks very tall to me. I know men sometimes lie about their height, but not usually the ones who are clearly pretty tall anyway.

Though I agree he's probably not BMI 40. More like mid 30s.

An American friend told me today prices of food and essentials might double by December. I don't know if that's a rumour or a solid forecast. If that's the case, I can't imagine the electorate being happy at all considering he basically ran on lowering the price of groceries. It'll get rocky for the Trump clique.

I seem to remember Trump refusing to concede he had lost the election after his first term, calling a mob onto Capitol Hill, whom he then pardoned in his second term? He was also convicted for sexual assault of a woman and apparently, the rest of us in the world are the cause of poor America’s economic problems and need to be punished with tariffs. I have a general disdain for politicians including Starmer but Trump is in a totally different league! 😂😂

The sad truth about tariffs though is that whilst exporters to the US are punished in a sense, the ones that really feel it are Americans. No one outside of the US actually pays one single dollar with those tariffs. It's all paid by the importers and in great part ends up passed on to US consumers. Exporters outside of the US feel the pain because obviously it means that their product is much less competitive on the US market. But essentially, it's an import tax and the money comes from INSIDE the US. Bonkers.

A few years ago I stated on here a number of times that Biden clearly had dementia and I recieved a whole heap of abuse for it. I was called everything.. a Trump-supporter, ageist, far-right, spiteful, a conspiracy theorist, a GB news watcher who needed to touch grass, racist (wtf?), and the mumsnet standby of 'you need therapy'.
The footage of Bidens countless episodes of disorientated behaviour was absolutely everywhere - entirely indisputable - and yet people were vehemently denying it and I still have no idea why. I wouldn't go as far as to say that I felt sorry for Joe Biden, but it was deeply wrong that he was still being rolled out like that in such a shocking state, I found it incredibly disturbing and unsettling that so many refused to acknowledge it until suddenly it was acceptable to.

Edited

I totally agree with you.

White House doctors, are not to be trusted. Just like at the lies they've told about Trump and Biden!

We can see their lies.👀

Lots of blatant wishing DT dead and talk of celebrating when he does.

When Axel Radubakana murdered those 3 little girls in a savage attack, nobody on Mumsnet threads wished him dead so blatantly. Anyone who criticised his outward appearance was called "racist".

I know who i would put my death wishes on.

Did you put your back out with that stretch?🤣

I actually think the alternative (Vance) is worse.

As is Starmer. Absolutely despise the man and what he’s doing to the UK, but would never wish someone I don’t know dead. Unless they were a murderer, paedophile or rapist of course….

Wow. I can't believe you just said that.

Why not? It’s true. She didn’t try to excuse a child murderer.

Yeah, I guess you’re right. Ex-presidents don’t matter. Sitting presidents do. And the current one is in great health, as shown by the photos of him with his granddaughter at the golf course this morning 💐

yes, great health. Apart from the clear signs of dementia, swollen ankles and IV bruises on his hands…. and the fact that he should under no circumstances be left alone with that granddaughter.

Trump is a repeated sex offender, probable rapist and friend of paedophiles.

Haven't you watched the news for the last decade?🤯

He must hate the fact his son Barron is so much taller than him.

Perhaps the difference is that DT's actions have world-wide consequences. We all suffer for what he says and does.

Yep. Let’s get Harris and Biden back in the driving seat. So much better……. 🙄

Either of them would indeed be much better than the vile monster Trump!

But the Democrats definitely need new blood.

Is there a reason we're knocking a couple of inches off his height?

Because he lies!

Look at him stood next to Prince William who is 6ft2. Trump is a good 3 inches less.

AP video of Prince William meeting Trump, compare their height

Seen one of the photos supposed to be taken today. No bruises or make up on back of right hand. Takes about 2-2.5 weeks for bruises back of hand to change colour then fade away. He is not a fast recoverer
