Why do people not like Jeremy Corbyn?

Except the youth vote, Labour’s natural voter base, largely stayed at home. Magic Grandpa couldn’t be bothered rousing them to get out and vote. Their vote only seems to matter to him when he’s at risk of becoming PM.

Many see him as anti-semitic and pro terrorist. I don’t at all (and I’m Jewish). I think it’s important to read information from a range of different sources and make up your own mind. I don’t have a problem with people criticising him (he’s not always good at politician stuff - saying the clever thing in the press to get people to like him) but I do get very tired of people believing slander without reading up on what’s behind it.

A lot of people (myself included) fell for the narrative that he was a terrorist loving anti semite and all around bad bloke. Do I believe that now? No, I don’t and after seeing the shit show of a government we have now I think it’s our own fault for falling for the media hype around Corbyn. That said I still don’t know if I’d vote for him because I suspect he’s got very different views on immigration than I have but I’ll reserve judgment and wait and see what policies he has this time around.

No, they gave what the nation wanted. It was the people who voted who were to blame.

I would be careful if I were you. I don't think Corbyn's team are going to lie down and take libel this time round.

@applegingermint David Cameron and conservative voters in general were to blame for Brexit. Detailed Polling figures at the time reflect this.

He’s pro terrorist. Also doesn’t like Jews. Not a nice man.

During the Brexit campaign he was extremely non-commital about whether he supported a unified Europe, and mid campaign disappeared on holiday.

People blame Boris but Jeremy was just as bad.

@SaintGermain To add to that, when he was Labour leader, he refused to say whether he was pro or anti Europe. Given it was a key moment for the country's economic well being, having a leader who refused to be honest and transparent was not acceptable.

We've had some pretty dodgy leaders over the years but at least we knew where they stood on most things.

Pro or anti - but be open about it, and he wasn't. Corbyn is fundamentally untrustworthy. A man of very dubious values.

For those who don’t know Corbyn spent his entire political career supporting terrorist groups. In the 1970s and 1980s at the height of the Troubles, that is whilst the IRA were blowing up little kids and scattering their limbs about because they happened to be British, Corbyn was going on IRA organised marches, sharing platforms with IRA terrorists and campaigning for IRA terrorists who were in prison. He combined this with supporting Hamas and Hezbollah at the height of their genocidal campaigns against Jews.

He also took money from Iran, and still does, with all that entails. Right now Iranian women are being killed by a theocratic police force there, which was actually more brutal through many of the years where Corbyn happily took an Iranian paycheck.

Anyway all this was in the public domain. It amazed me that millions of people were happy to ignore these facts. To ignore the murdered children and the Jew hatred and the treason of it all. It still does amaze me. So I posted that people voting Labour, given this leader, were supporting evil, doing evil, being evil. It couldn’t be seen any other way, if you yourself were a moral being. ‘
