His new political party with Zarah Sultana.

Except it doesn't appear to even have a name and now Zarah Sultana is having to go around twitter correcting journalists saying it's not called Your Party, while not actually clarifying what it is called.

I'm sure it will be extremely well organised.

Doctors must feel the “pain” of strikes or they will spread, Wes Streeting has warned.

Up to 50,000 junior doctors will join in a five-day walkout which starts at 7am on Friday, in pursuit of a 29 per cent pay rise.

I suppose we should cherish the 14-year periods when Labour are not in government (you note, I did not say power)…

Insults.... i hope you re not losing in life?

Evening Alex, my old fruit.

How are ya?

No thanks, it's hardly productive. I'm disappointed you haven't accused me of being from a Communist dictatorship though. Ah well.

Such a tease!

Don’t know why they don’t name it The Islamic Communist Party.

How predictably right-wing MSM.

👍 maybe he can use it to hire a PR manager.

Although who knows where that donation has actually gone.

I am confident that wherever my donation went was somewhere I would approve of. IMO, Corbyn is an ethical politician. Usually an oxymoron I know! Not in this case.

LOL.

Ah, the old close it down angle.

My DD used to try that when she was three.

As you wish.

In the highly unlikely event that these muppets get their act together sufficiently to actually get this new party off the ground, we should run a sweepstake on how long until the first split.

I give it three months.

So longer than the average Tory PM recently.

MiloMinderbinder925 · 24/07/2025 19:34

MyNameIsX · 24/07/2025 19:32

Let’s maintain the dialogue - we are both just warming up, I think.

It would be great if you could stop giving me instructions on how to behave. As for resorting to insults, I'm only following your lead. Take your own advice.

Resorting to insults.

I have learned that bitterness inevitably comes from posters who are not exactly winning at life.

Dont be one of those people, Milo.

“OK, so we have already demonstrated that we are incapable of producing a proper launch event for our new party with professional branding, media, socials etc, in fact we haven’t even got a name for it, or a leader, but we are asking you to vote for us to run the country.”

What can possibly go wrong with this new party? 🙄

I think they’ll struggle to find a better name than Your Party. I mean it’s actually not that bad.

I am looking on the bright side, I was enjoying myself. Don't you have anything else to look forward to? That's very sad. Try getting out more.

Nope, still not getting it. You will either need to be open with a full answer, or we will need to leave it there.

It’s My party and I’ll cry if I want to…..

No it's average. That's pretty much bang on average UK wage. Husband was on more than me so we equalled out as middle earners. Well he did until made redundant this week due to NI increase!

Wow you ve been hit very hard...

Middle income of around 60k isn't a household income.

So again, what taxes have Labour put on middle income earners.... i doubt i'll get an answer, so i'll tell you... its none, Labour haven't increased any taxes on middle income earners, other than school fees VAT which they had a mandate for as it was in their manifesto and will affect a tiny minority of average earners.

UK average income is £37.5k, so again, you re below this.

MiloMinderbinder925 · 24/07/2025 19:09

MyNameIsX · 24/07/2025 18:08

Is hyperbole your noun du jour?

Otherwise, do try to look on the bright side - the rain is good for ones garden.

Chin up! Many of us are looking forward to watching the socialists eat themselves.

Alexandra2001 · 24/07/2025 19:02

You re in a tiny minority, 35k is about 27k p.a net give or take, not much left to pay for even one child as a day pupil in the cheapest of private schools.

Plus your income really isn't in the middle income bracket, its below average.

I earn 35K and been hammered by VAT on school fees.

‘I want wealth and power to be redistributed’

Your words.

Nope, still not getting it. You will either need to be open with a full answer, or we will need to leave it there.

Aaron95 · 24/07/2025 18:56

Nichebitch · 24/07/2025 17:26

And this is how extreme right wins: divide the vote for the left, tories still not recovered, reform wins and we get a lovely Trump franchise

And this is why we need to reform our political system to use some sort of proportional represtnation to elect our politicians. Then people can vote for whichever party they actually support as smaller parties can get people elected and have influence on government policy.

But we won't because tradition.

MyNameIsX · 24/07/2025 18:55

Lemontcat · 24/07/2025 18:52

Alexandra2001 · 24/07/2025 18:14

Rubbish, middle income earners, those on around 60kp.a, are paying no more tax now than they were under the Tories.

Very few of these will be able to afford private school either or be employing people.

Or can you name the taxes Labour have targeted for Middle Income earners....

As a leader banker said recently "Brexit is the main cause of bankers and hence hi earners leaving the UK..."

...and who gave us that??

Radioundermypillow · 24/07/2025 18:53

I'd be interested in finding out the name as I might consider voting for them.

Lemontcat · 24/07/2025 18:52

Well, you are evidently not a fan of capitalism, and you appear to believe in egalitarianism….
