Corbyn announces Your Party

We obviously can’t have any party that might actually tackle issues talked about on here. It’s much better to just keep complaining about not being able to get a GP appointment, waiting hours at A&E, poor funding for our children’s education and being unable to get an NHS dentist.

But no, let’s shoot down any politicians trying to actually help people and keep supporting those making our lives worse.

A collapse in nhs dental services, in hospital waiting lists, in road mtce, the terrible waste of money that HS2 has proven to be.. 28billion and the leg to Birmingham allowed to run up costs now estimated to be 100 billion....... for 135miles of track....

Cut mtce on public buildings, inc schools and hospitals... even when they started to fall in on staff/patients and pupils....
Slashed defence spend...at a time when Russia became a clear threat to European security.

I don’t believe Starmer is condemning genocide, no. It’s a lot of words but no declaration of action when Israel blocks aid.

I think you may well be ageist, but perhaps have not recognised this in yourself. I hope you can reflect on this and begin to understand ageism is discrimination, and it is as unacceptable as racism, sexism etc.

Then maybe someone who has been brought up as Jewish, and who has always been made aware of Antisemitism, and who has spent decades observing it and who's family has been affected by it, is in a better position to identify it than some of the Antisemite-finder generals that seemed to spring up when Corbyn was made leader of the Labour party.

I voted Green at the last election. I couldn't vote Labour again (I did in 2017 and 2019) because I was, and am, horrified by the Labour government's complicity with the genocide in Gaza. Because I was upset by Kier Starmer's authoritarian treatment of anyone on the left of the party, including Diane Abbott, and especially Faiza Shaheen, who ended up standing as an independent.
I'm not a 'far-left wanker'. I believe in a fairer society, where everyone is afforded the dignity of a decent life - a home, an education, good healthcare etc. I want my taxes to fund these things, not wars. It's not radical or extreme. Jeremy Corbyn's policies when he was Labour leader weren't far-left. Just normal social democracy. The UK has become so right-wing, that people think normal social democracy is far left.
No way on Earth could I vote Labour now - the situation in Gaza is horrific, and the government is utterly complicit. The two child benefit policy, scrapping of winter fuel allowance for most pensioners, and changes to PIP, have left me reeling. It's not a left-wing government at all.
I hope The Green Party and JC's new party can work together, and really do see it as our last chance in a generation for Britain to become a fairer and more humane society again. I know I'm not alone.

I think you're building up your part a bit here. The deleted post that you say was "detailing antisemitism in the Labour party", didn't do so. It simply mentioned how you were horrified by some MSM posts. A very different thing.

Perhaps you can now detail the antisemitism in the labour party.

Very brave of you to make the statement " it's the truth". Let's just accept that there are some Jewish people who believe that he was/is antisemitic and presided over a party riddled with antisemitism, and that there are other Jewish people ( include myself in them) who believe that the story was overblown.
