This migrant problem is going to let Reform in isn’t it?

Maybe if people actually looked at the situation pre Brexit when certain controls were legally in place with regards to returns etc and post Brexit when the French and Belgians had no such obligations then it might get through why Brexit was such a shit idea in all kinds of ways. However the bigger issue is the fact of the numbers Johnson and Sunak allowed in ( plus their families needing resources) and encouraged ‘legally’ in order to mask the fact that Brexit was a shit show economically in terms of jobs that others simply didn’t want to do . I cannot believe people arestupid enough to actually believe Farages bar room pub talk without any idea of resources or money needed to go along with his back of fag packet policies - his bunch of total weirdos couldn't run a piss up in a brewery and it might take him getting in for many to realise that - I’m not that bothered as if it looks like he’s getting in then we will invoke nomad visas as luckily we can and be off . You will see a tax drain of people who can work remotely and have passive income like never before.

Really worried about this. Farage is Johnson mark 2, in being a privileged twit out to feather his own nest first and foremost, but who will say and do anything to make that happen, and who has convinced many people he's an ordinary relatable bloke just like them who shares their concerns and will see them right. Whereas he will actually just make himself and his rich friends even richer.

Dont get me started on the 'broadest shoulders need to take the burden'. FFS - they will move to other countries you twats. 30% of income tax is paid by 1% of the people, when is enough, 50%, 80%??

After reading Labour's 10 year plan for the NHS, I think the junior doctors have probably done him a favour by deflecting attention away from that pile of plop. If he can't sort them out quickly though it will be the end of him.

Sadly, I think we'll end up with a Reform government next time.

None of the parties are brave enough to be honest with the electorate about the challenges we face, and so none of them are able to offer any real solutions. In that kind of vacuum, the far right will flourish.

Things will get much, much worse under Farage, but we already know that most voters are very easy to manipulate. It will be too late by the time they realise.

Those who are in a position to make alternative plans after the next election should seriously start getting their ducks in a row. It's going to be bad.

No one used to claim they were going to vote Reform.

Now its seen as OK to do so. We went to the US a few months before Trump got in again. Americans are very open and we met a number and NO ONE said they were going to vote for him and yet....

Farage is a fab political commentor. He speaks in the language that people seem to udnerstand. Delivering it is far more tricky but he hasnt had to do that.

Look at the hash that Streeting is making over the Doctors strike. When in opposition he claimed all you needed to do was sit down with them and negotiate. Went well didnt it Streeting....

It wouldn’t surprise me at all. It seems to have really taken hold where we are, won council seat in last local election, and I expect to see them with a lot more in the next general election.

Truthfully though I’m not sure anything Labour do is going to make any different to that for the majority of those who are taking an interest in Reform because broadly speaking the media- particularly social media- is feeding the beast, there isn’t another anti-establishment party to choose and people have completely lost faith in the current and previous governments. Lots of people are now deciding that actually after so many years of rubbish they may as well take a chance on something new.

It is scary though & shows a real lack of understanding.

Labour have no real interest in sorting this out. Letting almost always young men from countries that treat women appallingly with no proper ID live in residential areas. What on earth could go wrong?

How many people are being processed every week and by how many Home Office people?

If Reform do a deal with the Tories they are very likely to win. Labour are a waste of space and have little sound bites which even when they are saying them dont have any chance of implementing them.

I have very strong concerns that reform will get in at the next election.

I don’t event know if it is possible politically but they seem to be gaining ground all over.

Well, it'll certainly get rid of the Labour party, that's for sure.

Reform are also very cleverly stirring this up - encouraging the mob to turn out in force.

They want to create a feeling of lawlessness within the country so they can argue that they are the only party that can put a stop to this. Nigel Farage is treading a very interesting line - saying that some of the protestors have gone too far but….

The thing is, migrants are actually a tiny part of the problems, they are just being made out to be the root cause - classic political misdirection.
