Some properties have been confirmed by landlords, some the residents themselves and sometimes just obvious - a group of men speaking little or no English suddenly appearing in a rented house or hmo and spending most of the day sat on a garden wall, park or town centre, it's not a wild leap of fancy. This is NW England.

There is a WINDOW of opportunity, do I think Labour will be bold and take it on, I wish, but I doubt it.

I am sorry to say that unless Labour step up now - as in right now - and make some really drastic decisions that will work, it is a done deal. The alternative is actually worse as I see it - where we will see sustained civil unrest.

Reform as I see it are the only thing keeping some sections of society quiet. They are at least representing these people.

I do so want to keep our beautiful peace, our constructive and most cohesive country in tact. We clearly can not go on. Some hard decisions will have to be made at a political level.

Reigate Grammar was a direct grant grammar school. It was always partially private, that’s how they worked. Keir Starmer’s fees were paid by the local authority both before and after it returned to independent status when the direct grant grammar schools were abolished.

Labour need to go

@MrsBennetsPoorNerves @Nchangeo In my small town, it's not hotels but residential rentals being utilised (probably moving out from hotels ironically). Small town, lack of investment and opportunities to begin with and now girls and young women are being filmed and approached in parks and on their own streets. This isn't one bad apple but appears routine behaviour by many asylum seekers and going unchecked.

The local police, MP, and Home Office are not responding to complaints, and that's before other concerns including shoplifting and impact on local resources.

Perhaps my town is unlucky with the attitudes in the groups being located here, but I suspect similar scenarios are playing out across the country and not being tackled by government is playing right into Reforms dreams.

I know many people think Labour are waging war on British people. That doesn't make it any the less an absurd idea.

I agree, maybe not ‘everyone’ but lots are, for having perfectly legitimate views that aren’t far right, from far left leaning people just because you highlight ANY problem or potential issues with migrants.

Or maybe if you’re the one (not you individually) calling people far right you should actually stop and listen to what they’re saying than be quick to label.

There are posters on here who call women wanting to retain single sex spaces and recognising you can’t change sex as ‘far right’. Doesn’t stop and make me reflect on my views as I know they are loons.

I am sure individually these migrants stories are harrowing. And anyone, even the most hardened anti immigration bloke down the pub would likely have a beer with them and be slapping their back saying you’re one of us - your one of the good ones - your welcome here.

And it’s true. They are human just like us. And the majority are not criminals.

But this is not about one migrant in a pub. This is about tens of thousands of illegal immigrants and hundred of thousands of legal ones. 1 million per year of non-eu migrants in years ending 23 and 24. It is a critical mass point.

And yes your right the comparatively tiny number of migrants in these male only hotels are not the root cause of this wider migration issue, nor of our societal decline. But when you live next to a hotel they are the ones most likely to be sat outside your front door.

I don’t know the answer but I get the problem. And if someone doesn’t do something we will have reform voted in or something worse. They probably won’t solve this immigration problem but they will do stupid other things like ‘reopen a conversation’ on abortion, and god forbid PPs other insane ideas from these councillors of trying to ban golf courses or bring back the guillotine. Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if they wanted to allow people to carry arms. This country will then be no better than the ones these migrants are fleeing.

Many will vote based on what they perceive as the most important issue for them directly and asylum seekers being dumped in small towns and seemingly going unchecked is a huge worry for many. Being ignored or called racist for expressing worries is also fanning the flames now.

Talk of stopping the unknown smuggler gangs is just noise, the party who offers to tackle head-on will get the votes. It's that simple.

It simply isn't true that "everyone" is labelled "far right" these days. Nor is it true to say that everyone who expresses concern about immigration is labelled "far right".

However, it is true that more people are being labelled "far right" these days, because there are growing numbers of people openly expressing far right views.

If someone is calling you "far right", maybe it's time to reflect on what you're saying and why it might be interpreted in that way.

But there is lawlessness. Shoplifting is rife.
Drugs everywhere. The smell of weed is everywhere.
Anti social behaviour everywhere.
I have a family member who works in a small Tesco and shoplifting is rife and obviously the staff can’t do anything, not safe. Police don’t come because under £100.

Well you could start by not calling people concerned about mass immigration far-right. For crying out loud, everyone is labelled far-right these days. I actually saw someone who wanted to deport an illegal immigrant convicted of rape labelled ‘faaaaaaar-right’. It’s insane. Any rational person (obviously I don’t include brainwashed members of the left-wing cult in that) can see that these boatloads of young men are not “frightened refugees fleeing war and persecution.” They are a mix of economic migrants, criminals and rootless drifters. This pressure on Europe’s borders isn’t going away. Africa has the highest birth rate in the world, and the African population is going to double - just as climate change starts causing chaos. Either mainstream politicians crack down and deport people with no right to be here, or you really will see far-right parties gain power.
