Macron has been trying to step up as Europe's elder statesman since Merkel left and I expect lots of infighting for dominance with Germany etc. It's not going to be smooth sailing and it's going to cost a shit load of money which confirms that European countries have been subsidized by the US security wise. The EU announced they need to spend €850bn and that's just a start.

I find it funny how you're all angrily stating that the US is no longer an ally because they don't want to keep paying for you 😂. The US has been pushing for European countries to step up since Obama and you all refused now you all act outraged, give it a rest.

Also for the US Europe is not a priority anymore, remember during Obama's term when he declared the US is pivoting to Asia? You had a long time to prepare your leaders failed so stop blaming the US.

As I was replying to a poster asking about men and women being conscripted for the war that is being agitated for in some quarters, no surprise there, who are you to say that the thread is being derailed because our dear leaders don’t know what a woman is.
