Every one so up in arms about trump, but what about…

  1. JFK supported by the mob who paid for him to come into power.
  2. JFK Cuban missile crisis.
  3. Clinton M impeachment not to mention starting strikes on irak to detract from it.
  4. Clinton F did not win the seats, Bernie did, the old guard of the party let down the voters,
  5. Biden senile couldn’t string a coherent sentence throughout term of office.

On the other hand, international actors who want the rest of the west to fall to the same approach do need to perpetuate the myth that Trumps not so bad. Because then it will be much easier for them to try and swing an election for Reform so that Ukraine loses another ally.

Russia is pouring vast resources into changing Western political opinions. Russia helped finance and influence MAGA. It helped finance and influence Brexit. It's helping to finance/influence a multitude of similar efforts across the West and elsewhere.

Putin has realised that Russia hasn't got the money, argument or sufficient sober people to counter the West in arms, technology or ideology. It's a shitty country with shitty politics and shitty prospects. All it can do is subvert the West from the inside. And the most terrifying thing is that it's working.
