She's a black ( American viewpoints) woman and whilst they can accept the black I don't think they're ready for a woman president.

I am pretty certain Trump will be as effective in reducing immigration as the Tories have been. But we shall see.

The Dems are deeply infected by the woke trans ideology and Critical Race Theory/DEI. It is extremely damaging for women and children to promote the idea that any man can self ID as woman and invade all women's and girls single sex spaces and sports. DEI promotes mediocrity and is deeply racist. Trump will deal with these ideological beliefs and begin to reverse the damage done. He will reinstate border controls, very important to any country. We only want people who apply legitimately to become citizens. We have a right to vet them all. These the are main reasons.

I voted for him. My hometown is from a place near Springfield Ohio. The resettlement of Haitians has destroyed that town, and other towns near it. Charleroi in PA is a town of maybe 4000 people, had 2000 Haitians dumped on them and is destroying the town. I don’t want this to happen to
my town and I voted accordingly

I like his stance on immigration and his straight forwardness. The left has gone a bit loony in the past decade and right leaning candidates are appealing to me so they bring some normality back to the world. I'm very pro abortion and have had one myself and disagree with it being banned before 16 weeks but basing a vote around one issue like abortion is stupid to me.

To me, the chances of me needing an abortion to save my life is much lower than me being under threat from an illegal from a violent country, getting shanked by a junkie in a state where drugs are decriminalised or getting shot by a burglar or a mugger if I wasn't allowed to defend myself or having my business or car damaged by rioters which are all things that tend to come along with blue states.

Any evil or harm that would come to women due to an abortion ban if women voted in a party who say wanted a blanket ban on it would still probably be less overall than the harm that would come to us by the issues above so I'd be comfortable still supporting the anti abortion party despite not agreeing with the stance.

I think lots of women like myself want some normality and security vs the current feel good "let's save the world!" stance which makes everything uncertain and dangerous, and I think there's too much social pressure for more women to be loud and out about this stance hence the unexpected amount of women who voted for trump. You see it all of the time if someone says they support the "wrong" party, it's almost a taboo to say it outloud and I find it undemocratic.

I feel so sorry for the people who didn’t vote for him, even more-so than the innocent people of Clacton.

I'm not sure anyone who did vote for him will feel that comfortable replying on this thread as its more people saying they don't like him.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. He is a racist, homophobic, misogynistic PIG who will use the next four years to do all that he can to line his pockets. This is a scary time to live in the US because he will be completely unfettered with no chance of another reelection and he will make the country the laughing stock of the free world.

We won't get an honest answer to any of these questions. They are hypocrites and deep down they know it. They just don't care. Just once I'd like to see one of them admit the truth, but it will never happen. I have been asking them these kind of questions for twenty five years and haven't got an honest answer yet.

I’ve heard he is very charming in private. He is a good listener. He is prepared to talk to the ‘other side’. He is an antidote to the ‘progressive elite’ (ref Corbyn et al) who think of the poor as victims solely to be rescued and divide people into groups according to their identity. I’m not saying I like him-but these are the things I like about him. And I can really understand why he beat Kamala. And the sexual allegations? Well, the Dems had Clinton in the White House.
