As far as the Conservatives, they don't really have any either. So much so that they had to drag old 'run away' Cameron back from obscurity. If he is the best they could find, I think that proves my point. Not even an MP so had to be made a Lord in order to hold office. 🤦‍♂️

I’m undecided. Had enough of this disastrous Tory government. Lived under two previous Labour governments which were a disaster fo us as a working family. Gordon Brown completely wrecked my personal pension savings & lived through all the disastrous strikes. But it hardly matters being undecided seeing as we’ve hardly anyone standing living as we do in the Speaker’s constituency.

Is immigration is genuinely your biggest concern you need to vote for a party that is going to improve the world. Act as a stabilizing force internationally, reduce climate change and support developing counties sustainably. This will, in the longer term reduce immigration.
Reform are the opposite of this.

At the moment, a cross in any box is a vote for disaster. Just different flavours of disaster.

This is why a lot of people will vote Labour, but that doesn’t mean that people believe in their policies.

I'm very undecided. I'm Welsh and have lived under a Labour government since devolution.
I really dislike the way dissenters are completely ignored, called stupid and shouted down. To get the illusion of support for 20mph the health board were basically ordered to put staff up for interviews who'd praise it. Then when people still protested we were told we'd misunderstood the whole policy. Public services are not impartial. As a one party state I think they have a responsibility to be more transparent and accountable to the population.
On pretty much every score Wales is below England, despite having more to spend per head of population thanks to the Barnett formula.
They've really screwed over our farmers and haven't subsidised good practice around sustainability in the same way England has

I'll still probably vote for them because the other candidates are worse and I can't vote Plaid who's give this shit show more powers

Yep. I want the tories out, but can't vote for Labour/lib dem and the greens are an absolute joke. So in my area I'm left with Reform. I won't spoil my ballot (as tempting as it is!) After a huge amount of reading and emailing local candidates I'm frankly depressed by it all. I'll decide on the day I guess.

That wasn't the point of the thread though, unless I misunderstand? You asked why people are undecided. If what you actually meant to say was "if you are undecided I can help by stating that we need the Conservatives out" that would have been an entirely different conversation.

As above; can't vote for a party that won't acknowledge biology and protect women's rights - it's a complete deal breaker for me. Reform - can't vote for racism either.

I agree. I can't remember a general election when, with less than 1 week to go so many people I know are still saying all options are crap and they can't decide who to vote for, to spoil their vote, or even to not vote at all. My husband is the same. He said the chatter in his office is full of undecided voters.

Because as much as I want to change our current government, there is nothing inspiring about the alternative and their leader comes across as a smarmy two faced git.

A vote for the greens and Lib Dems is a vote for trans ideology and a vote for reform is a vote for the racists. So I’m out of options.

If you are undecided, then look at your local candidates and vote for the one who is going to work to resolve local issues and best represent the needs of the local constituents. Hopefully they will actually live in the constituency they represent.

Yes. What made you think that wasn't what I was referring to? None of the parties fill me with any confidence. None of their manifestos stand up to any scrutiny.

As I said, the original question is whether I was undecided. The choice is shit, or shit. So I am undecided which shit I wish to vote for.

Ultimately, I will most likely go for a different flavour shit to the one we have currently, but I'm under no illusion that it won't be anything other than just a different flavour of shit.
