Trump Trial Time - banish all memories of Mueller.

He's going to be very shaken by this so it will be interesting to see if he continues with his rallies.

I'm clearly a terrible person, but I'm just disappointed. If that shooter was willing to die for it, wish he'd had a clean hit. My heart goes out to the civilians killed and injured however.

Thoughts and prayers to all, as the Republicans are so fond of saying when schoolchildren are slaughtered at their desks.

I'm definitely a terrible person, I had the same reaction. The only thing is, Trump would have been elevated to sainthood had he been killed and then where would the USA be?

FWIW, shooter and one spectator dead. Another spectator in serious condition.

From the video I don't think Trump was hit. I think he hit his ear on the podium on the way down when he hit the ground.

This is a scary, scary thing. He's going to play this for everything he can and his base will be riled up beyond belief. If it causes any disaffected to come back to his side out of sympathy or outrage, I'm afraid the election is lost.
