Live in leafy commuter town which is perennially safe Tory. Df even stood as a local Labour councillor once. Think he got 11 votes or something.

Lib Dem’s I would think. Not alive now but my Dad was a BBC correspondent and then the senior editor for the world service in the 80s.My mum was a nurse and very bohemian and progressive. We had curry’s,stir fried food, bolognaise etc in the 70s!

They were oldfashioned Liberals. I doubt they'd be too impressed by some of the current libdems.

Well - they would have voted for the Apathy party if they could have been bothered to get off their arses instead of moaning at the TV. They talked politics but I don't remember them actually voting. Labour in principle.
