Very good post. What good is it, repeating the line that labour don't know what a woman is when the Tories are the ones who think so lowly of a woman in the first place, and have let all the barriers fall as far as they have on women's spaces?

Because it’s all they’ve got. Now we’ve established that the Tories think sedating women to keep them docile is acceptable “knowing what a woman is” isn’t quite the appealing incentive to vote for them that some people would have us think.

But he doesn't believe a trans woman is an actual woman.

People disagree won what trans people should access and shouldn't.

I don't agree with any governments position in this. It's in the Tory's watch trans woman have been allowed into woman's spaces and have raped them. No one shines in this area. The Tory's see woman as beneath men. As sex objects and as people with lesser rights who should stay home and make babies.

Thankfully the world outside of government have taken the lead on this and are generally making sensible decisions. We only hear about it more because SM is where people go to shout the loudest.

By definition, being transgender is hiding who you are. People are welcome to present however they like. That doesn't mean they become the opposite sex. Any politician who says that someone who was born male is a woman is a liar. And anyone who thinks that someone like Keir Starmer genuinely believes a transwoman is a woman is ridiculously naïve.

His background isn't that though. He has kept his past views pretty quiet because they are pretty radical. He is an urban politician and the fact he still thinks men can become women show he has ideas that sound nice but are damaging long term.

Indeed, the Tories know exactly what a woman is. How many rapes and sexuals assaults have their MP's been arrested for this year alone? The Home Secretary seems quite the expert on the date rape drug too. To be fair to the Tories though, they are an equal opportunities employer. Some of the sexual assaults have been against men.

Boring would be great, if it's accompanied by evidence-based policy rather than political slogans and pandering to party membership. Surely we've all had enough of "exciting" scandals, extreme rhetoric and extreme nonsensical policies burning the economy to the ground in the name of "control" and "patriotism"?

Boring if it means vaguely competent will do for me. A lot will depend on others in the government, the present one has ministers so poor almost none would have been good enough for a Cameron or Thatcher government.

So many times he routed an idea that the Tory's have taken as their own and continued to claim he has no policies - remember the windfall tax on energy companies?

When it comes to a manifesto being required I'll judge them if he has policies or not. Until then he isn't running the county - that's being run into the ground by the Tory's.

The TRA shitshow happened under and because of the Tory government that have been in power for the last 13 years.

We are electing a government not a circus troupe , i couldn't care less if they are boring , frankly after this lot the more boring the better.

I'm fine with boring and would rather that than politicians who use their elected position to boost their family/friends' coffers and make a name for themselves as Shock Jocks.

I don't like Starmer or Labour for many reasons, but after "iconic" personalities such as Johnson and Trump, give me "boring" any day. I have an alternative to Trump's slogan:

MAKE POLITICS BORING AGAIN.
Politics really shouldn't be this exciting, with scandal after scandal.

Another slogan I'm fond of is: "Politicians are like nappies - they should be changed regularly, and for the same reason". So many of them (Thatcher/Blair/Trump/Johnson) end up unable to tell the difference between themselves and God.
