If there was a GE today who would you vote for?

Bit cheeky but I’m curious to see if there are genuinely any Tory voters out there at all following another disastrous week for Rishi Sunak.

So who would get your vote?

I‘ll go first, I would vote Labour. As much as I would love to hear more on policy and a firm grittiness from them, I do understand that Keir Starmer is doing the best he can, in that he can’t alienate a large proportion of the electorate so needs to toe the line.

I think anyone who can say they’ll still vote conservative at the moment is basically saying that policies, track record, and competence, don’t matter to them. It’s unfathomable why anyone would support the current conservative party

Probably labour, maybe green. I'm in a very safe Labour seat ( been labour since 1935!), so no risk of the Tories getting in here lol.

No one, pissed off with Tories about flip flopping on the environment, and neither of the other two understand science. In our council elections last year I wrote "if you want my x, respect my sex" on my ballot paper. The dreadful Libdems will probably win in this constituency anyway, they've been here for years.

I'm a high earner, I couldn't with good conscience vote for the Tories, they have failed us.

I really don't know. I couldn't bring myself to vote Tory because they are so awful on so many things I care about and will affect people I love. Our local Tory MP is a terrible waste of time as well so that doesn't help.

But I won't vote for a party that is weak on women's rights so I've really got no clue what I would do right now.

I feel like there’s a right answer and a wrong answer here!
My answer is that I simply don’t know. I have major concerns about all 3 major parties. In truth though I live in a safe Tory seat so it doesn’t matter who I vote for 😒

Whenever Sunak does something sane I have to remember that he is only there against the wishes of most of his party, they only have someone half competent by accident

Anybody who will get the Tories out. Round these parts it's Lib Dem. Our Tory MP is a total waste of space; a govt whip so always toes the party line.

Can't wait for election night and will be ticking my Tory bingo card as the likes of Rees Mogg, Braverman and IDS hopefully get toppled.

Oh and Sunaks piece de resistance this week has to be scrapping the very policies he's presented to the ECHR as defence against being sued for not doing enough about climate change 🤦🏼‍♀️

(It's a dubious court case anyway imo but still not his wisest move!)

I will vote tactically to oust the Tories. I will keep an eye on polls in my area and vote for whoever has the best chance of doing this.

Probably conservative, I cannot vote Labour as they seem intent on penalising middle earners.

I'm a middle earner and the Tories have done NOTHING for me in the last 13 years other than make me much much poorer.

He has scrapped some bonkers proposals like the meat and veg tax, and the car share karaoke compulsion. These are the important issue that the Prime Minister should be dealing with and will make life better for all of us.

He's so proud of himself for scrapping some bonkers proposals that were never going to become policy to save the British people from them becoming policy.

Oh - policy that only he can implement anyway.

As far as moot points go he's excelled himself this week 🤦🏼‍♀️

Labour. Anyone voting for the Tories now are absolutely insane. They've fucked the country (Brexit) fucked the economy (Brexit and shite fiscal policies), destroyed people's trust in government to an all time low, increase the divide between rich and poor, fucked the NHS, fucked the Police, fucked the schools, and are now fucking up the environment (raw sewage and failing green policies). What have they done to improve the country in the last 13 years?! Only a fool would even consider it.
