If there was a GE today who would you vote for?

Bit cheeky but I’m curious to see if there are genuinely any Tory voters out there at all following another disastrous week for Rishi Sunak.

So who would get your vote?

I‘ll go first, I would vote Labour. As much as I would love to hear more on policy and a firm grittiness from them, I do understand that Keir Starmer is doing the best he can, in that he can’t alienate a large proportion of the electorate so needs to toe the line.

A they're nit and if they were an even better reason to vote for them, especially as brecit just looks more stupid every day.

But don't worry, the Conservatives are doing it bit by bit. We've rejoined Horizon on worse and more expensive terms than before. We'll carry on doing that, it just going to be more expensive and worse terms...

It's very naive to think that people will vote against the best interests of their own family. No one is that altruistic, whatever they may say publicly

So I'd be very surprised if anyone with kids in private school votes for a 20% increase. Anymore than someone on UC voting for a party promising a 20% decrease in their income

Plaid Cymru - labour not going to win in my constituency, & the local plaid MP does a good job.
Welsh elections I either vote Labour or split my vote with plaid, I think having to collaborate makes for more sensible & moderate government. I really wish we had proportional representation in Westminster too.

Anyone but conservatives- the blatant lying and corruption is not even hidden now.

We have one of the fairly decent tory MPs who is very present and active in the area - but cannot support the current party & will never forgive them for Brexit.

Probably conservative, I cannot vote Labour as they seem intent on penalising middle earners.

Whereas the conservatives are intent on punishing everyone except the extremely wealthy.

I don't want to vote conservative.
But I don't think Labour will protect women's rights and I don't support Sadiqu Khan.
I just don't know who is worth voting for currently

Rishi did his version of Cameron’s Brexit bribe this week - playing to the climate change deniers (who happen to coincide with those who long for the old days and hate the idea of changing their energy behaviour).

They don’t care what they do in their efforts to stay in power.

None of them deserve anyone’s vote. Keir Starmer will end up PM, but he’s no great statesman. It’s depressing that this lot are apparently the best we can do as a country. God help us!

Labour. Or would vote tactically round here to get the (scumbag) Tory incumbent* out. I hope that this immoral and disgusting government get their arses absolutely handed to them at the upcoming GE, and I hope that it is called as soon as humanly possible. Like, tomorrow soon. Fingers crossed!

*Although, despite claiming their salary, my MP hasn't actually attended parliament for 16 months, since they were arrested on suspicion of crimes including indecent assault and abuse of a position of trust. They're currently on bail and have- unbelievably- been reselected to stand again.

Honestly. Anyone who thinks the Tories give one single flying FUCK about women’s rights is deluded. And if they are so hot on gender issues, how come, after 13 years of Tory rule, we are where we are.
