We don't have a government in this country any more.

We have a dictatorship.

The strikes are to make change, it's going to impact at Christmas, isn't that the point ? I saw in the news the pm was 'going to take action if unions continue to be unreasonable'

Absolute joke, they expect everyone to carry on with their usual wage when the cost of living is constantly going up? People are struggling ! I'm sat with my newborn baby absolutely freezing, wrapped up with hot water bottles in our home because I'm too scared to put the heating on!! It's 2022 ffs!

Yeah, it's so mean for people to stand up for their right to fair pay and conditions and to try to protect the vital services this country depends on. They should just have a mulled wine and let they country fall to pieces around them.

FYI - it's because striking at Christmas is so visible and annoying that it's effective.

Very, very worrying - I knew Sunak was trouble.

The writing has been on the wall for quite some time I'm afraid.

'Just stop oil' for example are funded by a baroness with shares in the oil companies. They are basically a psy op in order to usher through non protest bills.

The strikes are being utilised for the very same purpose.

I expect there to be some awful calamities during the nurses and paramedics strikes and an ensuing media field day with public outrage.

That will be the next trajectory in this handcart to hell we appear to be strapped in to.

The strike has to affect people though. Other times of the year it might not be so impactful.

Very, very worrying. They know there will be future strikes.
The ability for enployee to withhold their labour to affect change is one of our most fundamental rights this is so worrying
