Boris Johnson for Prime Minister

Eighteen Million (18M) people voted Conservative in 2019 because the Leader was Boris Johnson … THREE YEARS LATER … MP’s acted against British 🇬🇧 popular opinion and the economy went into meltdown … Seventy Two Percent (72%) of electors want Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak back at the helm -

BUT
struggling homeowners want to see mortgage payments fall and calm and stability return

AND
as Boris already has a mandate to govern from the British 🇬🇧 people …

WOULD it be sensible to put him and Rishi Sunak back in control and take the fight to Labour and their (Labour’s) announced plan on the 20th October 2022, to repeal the 2016 Trades Union Act and unleash unaffordable wage increases and strikes galore!!

@AllChangeNow I think you'll find that just under 14 million voted for Boris in 2019 (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_United_Kingdom_general_election). I also question this figure of '72% of electors'

What makes you think the markets will be any calmer after a Boris comeback? Also, even if Boris does return, its unlikely he'll appoint Rishi Sunak as chancellor (it was Rishi and Sajid Javid resigning that triggered Boris being thrown out of number 10, I seem to recall). I think this post needs a little more thought.

I really don’t think struggling to fill his cabinet will be an issue or a show stopper and sunak not being there would not have Boris gutted to be honest.

People voted for Boris to get Brexit done and stop Corbyn being PM. The former has been signed off and the latter isn't going to happen. Boris resigned for a reason and those reasons are still valid. He's the most shamelessly sleazy and corrupt PM in modern British history and should not return.

We just don’t have great options at all. In any party. I don’t know what I think but I always thought it undemocratic that the MPs could oust a PM with that kind of majority. Shouldn’t be allowed to happen.
