If Boris was back, unless he called an early general election he wouldn't stay as Prime Minister long enough to win an election.

voters knew long before 2019 what a liar Johnson was it didn’t deter them for voting for him. His appeal is a mystery to me but I’m aware that he is a vote winner and I believe he would certainly pull back voters. Sunak not so much

other media outlets are reporting different not all Tories will agree but Johnson still has support many Tory party members love him many Tory voters still love him many voters that voted Tory for the first time in 2019 still support him it’s now if he gets past the 100. I wouldn’t trust that he is more than what is being reported nothing is as it seems with Johnson

It really isn’t. Even his mate Charles Moore at The Telegraph has said Johnson standing again would be a travesty. When even the Tory newsletter isn’t backing him, you know he’s run out of road.

Johnson gets barely any support “on here”. What makes you think he’d win a GE when the Tories lost every by election held while he was PM? They lost huge majorities in places like Tiverton and N Shropshire.

I think if Johnson wins they have a better chance of winning but still unlikely to

It is cringey that people refer to Johnson as 'the big man' - he's grim, unprofessional, almost a grotesque figure. Not being able to see who he is is really quite weird IMO.

Desperation and pathos are qualities associated with those with no ambition other than to try and get an ego driven opportunist back into Downing Street. He got votes from an awful lot of people in 2019 because Corbyn was a terrible alternative.

Because it's meant to. We've been living in the battleground of culture wars for some years now. Politicians who's tactics have all been about stoking culture tribalism rather than serious work.

Sadly those tactics have been successful. Though lately cracks have started to show in some countries.

What we're seeing here with the Tories is to what extent culture war tactics will continue to work in the UK.

Women, those who are less well off, disabled people, diversity. He's really a caring modern kinda guy!

Its a great choice, between a Prime Minister who broke laws he introduced and his Chancellor who also broke the law, and stuck with the Prime Minister for months when everyone else in the country could see what a disaster they were and said Chancellor had previously made plans to leave the UK because he doesn't really want to live here anyway.
