Boris Johnson for Prime Minister

Eighteen Million (18M) people voted Conservative in 2019 because the Leader was Boris Johnson … THREE YEARS LATER … MP’s acted against British 🇬🇧 popular opinion and the economy went into meltdown … Seventy Two Percent (72%) of electors want Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak back at the helm -

BUT
struggling homeowners want to see mortgage payments fall and calm and stability return

AND
as Boris already has a mandate to govern from the British 🇬🇧 people …

WOULD it be sensible to put him and Rishi Sunak back in control and take the fight to Labour and their (Labour’s) announced plan on the 20th October 2022, to repeal the 2016 Trades Union Act and unleash unaffordable wage increases and strikes galore!!

you feel happier if Boris was back as Prime Minister and Rishi as Chancellor?

well this country is a fuked as they come if you still believe Bongo is worthy of any time and effort.

There are still some posters on here who maintain that Boris did nothing wrong and it was fine for him to need a birthday party when millions of children could not have them.

What he says he could get might not have stacked up tomorrow! Sunak and Johnson talks for an hour snd Sunak would not budge. That’s good really. Sunak called him out before. So surely couldn’t accept the same again.

One could argue that Sunak rather handicapped himself by breaking the law whilst Chancellor, by accepting billions of pounds of fraud, by instigating eat out to spread covid, by creating a housing bubble by removing stamp duty, to name a few of his achievements in government.
It may also have been a handicap to Sunak that it doesnt appear to want to live in the UK (see green card fiasco).

Because Sunak is from an Asian family, his background culture will be different to the majority of voters.

many will view him as not really British they won’t Johnson even if he was born in the US and is from an extremely privileged background

The thing is Boris is just one of us really isn't he, he has flaws, but understands what the British people think. Rishi isn't one of us in the same way.

Johnson gets barely any support “on here”. What makes you think he’d win a GE when the Tories lost every by election held while he was PM? They lost huge majorities in places like Tiverton and N Shropshire.

I don't know Tiverton particularly, but N Shropshire is deeply conservative, which is why they elected a local person who knew the challenges they face and who is regularly to be seen in the constituency unlike the neighbouring Tory MPs.
