The LP politicians that might have some credibility are hiding behind KS, because they campaigned for 2nd referendum and feel that by showing their faces they will continue to alienate the red wall who voted for CP for the 1st time ever. That's not the way to get them back is it?

There is no one on the front bench that is credible for me, that includes KS.

Despite the talk, much of it vitriolic, spiteful and aggressive, with small sparks of triumphalism, I am not convinced by those on show.

I wasn't going to vote Labour because of the way Corbyn was treated.

The Greens won't win. I feel bad about spoiling my ballot paper due to the fight for women to vote, so I vote for a party that won't win but doesn't offend me.

If I was in the labour leadership I'd refuse to field any MPs for election as a protest about the repeating cycle of pointlessness in the UK.

Since 1945 we've had to cycle through huge spending in order to recover from either war, disaster or to repair the public services cuts conservatives always bring, followed by growing unease about public debt, a new conservative government and everything being run into the ground again.

I'd be tempted to tell Truss et al - "Its your bed, you make it", in honesty what I think we need is a completely new political structure that encourages non-partisan thinking and action, rather than the current system that only rewards majority power and is based on holding on to that power beyond all other concerns.

The wider country beyond the Tory faithful is ready for change, and some politicians with empathy, for sure. We need politicians that care about the people, the Tory cabinet just see it as a spiffing game, like the games they played at Eton and then Oxford. Some business owners are in dispair that all they have built will be in ruins come Octobers price hikes.

We also need politicians in power who have a vision to invest in the future UK. In the past 12 years they could have invested in upgrading the insulation for the UK housing stock and tightening the building code to improve the energy efficient of new builds as various experts were urging them to do as part of improving our resilience to energy shocks and climate change, but no. Now what will happen is that they will give grants to people that will go straight into the bank accounts of their mates at the energy companies and we will be back at square one. Still completely vulnerable to future energy shocks and still reliant on dodgy dictatorships with poor human rights for the most basic of needs.

The country is fucked and the Tories can't and won't takes steps to improve things. In order to improve things they need to discuss what is wrong and politically that is not going to happen as it means they have to discuss their own errors, going right back to austerity (which has damaged growth so much and is a key reason we lag the rest of the G7). Sometimes you have to make the leap, and stop throwing good time after bad. It is illogical to carry on in this vein as we are all able to see the state of things, made worse by the Tories.
